  1. ^ Same here Eric. It was nice meeting your daughter and her boyfriend too. It was really an EPIC day for SFMM... by the way Eric was Terminator feeling faster than usual because I felt it hauling major booty today!
  2. Bravo SFMM, Bravo!!! This was probably one of the best days ever at the mountain for me. Can you believe me and my girlfriend were the only two on one train on X2!!!!! If you want proof just look at the picture below. But again I must may again that SFMM went all out with this event. Mostly all the food places were open, games were full force and the coasters were pretty much "stay on if you want to re-ride" with the exemption of Terminator because it was only running one train when I rode it. Other than that this was a day to enjoy to the fullest. Did the park in 3 hours and that's just because we were taking our time. THANK YOU again SFMM... Just Simply Awesome! Can you say you had X2 all by yourself... I can!
  3. ^^ No worries I know it sounds impossible but really it only took me 10 seconds to find it. You'll get use to it buddy.
  4. Congrats on your 1st post but please make sure you use the "search" function before posting any new topics. Click here for the link!
  5. I'm in the same boat as you Eric. Hopefully we don't arrive too late, but if we see you we will definetly say "Hola" to Mr. Pumba and offspring!
  6. Thanks for the heads up buddy. Hopefully me and my gf will go around 5pm. Hopefully everyone will have a great day tomorrow at the event... Should be fun!
  7. Hey William would you know what's the latest time SFMM will let people in tomorrow afternoon for the event?
  8. That pretty much sums up my point of view.
  9. Yea I was planning to go but I didn't realize that the 11th landed on a Friday. I doubt if I would go but if anything changes I will post it here. -Josh
  10. You weren't the only one with no prior experience Shawn... I think that's gonna mix things up a bit during the season. Looking forward to it!
  11. The draft was great. Can't wait for the season to start BM. We will see the fruits of our labor real soon buddy. Thanks again for having some fun with us Big Mikey Mike... Peace!
  12. Hopefully whenever I get the chance to go up north I can give the GD at SCBB a try. The one in San Diego is a fun little ride but I can see where a little more speed can add to the experience. I do agree that the one down south is a bit shaky but I have to remember these are early 1920's coaster we're talking about... but decently maintained ones at that .
  13. It just came to my attention while reading the SFMM thread that the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz could be a top 3 woodie in California. Personally I have only ridden the one at Belmont Park but every time I hear about the Giant Dipper people usually refer to the one up north. I just want to hear from you guys if there is a different between both of these classic coasters. I personally enjoy the the Giant Dipper at Belmont Park and I could easily see why someone would place it high on the list of best Cali woodies.
  14. I'm pretty much a noob at fantasy football but I'll give it a shot Big Mikey Mike... Count me in!
  15. ^ Giga, Giga, Giga!!!! Sorry to much time spent on the KD thread got me on "Giga" mode.
  16. Sorry, I should have clarified that I meant the layout is similar to that of the Mega-Lite in the picture. I have not ridden a Mega-Lite or a 300ft giga yet so I would be in no way comparing the two... especially one that is not even built yet.
  17. That's a great point you made! I knew when I saw the renderings they looked pretty familiar. I'll probably head out east next year to ride this puppy. Should be a good one!
  18. By the way, I now know why you guys keep saying Silver Bullet is a very weak B&M in terms of intensity. I just came from a mini Knott's trip and every time I would ride Silver Bullet me and my girlfriend would wait for the front. Honestly I have always felt some forcefulness during the ride in the front row but nothing too intense. So today me and my girlfriend decide to go in the back row and really see what Silver Bullet has to offer. So up the lift we go, first drop was fun but after that NO forces what so ever!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I do have to mention though that the ride was the smoothest I have been on while on a B&M... NO JOKE!!! I kept telling my girlfriend... "nothing, nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing!"going through the inversions and she agreed. It was surreal to be on the back row of a coaster and have a LACK of forces...
  19. ^ Your right, OVERALL is the correct word for it. Even though IMO Tatsu's pretzel loop is the most intense element in the park Batman's compact layout has the highest OVERALL ride intensity in the park.
  20. Thanks for the info buddy, it's much appreciated.
  21. Hey quick question, does SFMM accept debit cards at the parking toll booth or is it cash only? I'm headed over there tomorrow so I was just wondering if I have to stop by the ATM in the morning before heading out.
  22. Kiddos don't let those animatronics hear you talking about replacing them or they will meet you at High Noon in Calico Square!!!
  23. Hardy- Har- Har!!! Always quick to the punch huh Eric!
