The park has had huge crowds during HIP over the last 4 or 5 years, especially on Saturdays and the 2 weeks when school is out. I've parked in the back of the overflow lot more than once on HIP visits in recent years. -
Going To New York City this fall
bigboy replied to WilliamBauset08's topic in Random, Random, Random
I didn't spend much time in Tribeca during my trip this summer, but it's within relatively easy walking distance of the WTC site, Staten Island Ferry, Battery Park, the Financial District, and Chinatown/Little Italy. Anything in the city is easy to get to on the subway. The subway is clean, safe, and gets you anywhere pretty quick. Navigating the system can be tricky, but most hotel concierge desks can give you an easy to use, double-sided subway map that was more helpful than any of the iPhone apps I tried to use. If you confine yourself to seeing stuff in Tribeca during a trip to NYC, you're really going to miss out on a lot. For Italian, there are a number of good places in Little Italy on Mulberry St. north of Canal. -

Having teenagers as moderators on the company website doesn't exactly scream "credibility". -

A mountain rises in Texas - Bearfire Resort
bigboy replied to speedracer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This proposed resort is actually going to be in FW, not between FW and Dallas. The location is north of Alliance Airport and south of the NASCAR track, about 15 minutes west of DFW Airport. Keep in mind, this is nearly a billion dollar project and they are nowhere near done with lining up investors. I heard rumors that a recent investor recruitment meeting resulted in almost zero interest. I just don't see how an outdoor faux ski resort is going to pay off when Colorado and New Mexico resorts are a 12 hour drive from here. Who wants to ski on a fake mountain in 100 degree heat in August when you can wait 6 months and enjoy the real thing for the same price? I'll believe it when the doors open. -
This was my 5th show in the last 7 and my 2nd in Atlanta. It seems like the attendance is lower than Orlando, but it's hard to tell since Atlanta has to spread the show floor out over 2 exhibit halls. One of the show daily newspapers listed attendance for the last 10 years or so and it has declined from near 30k in 2001 down to 22k last year.

So what's going to make this so much more of a failure than when they divideded tribes by age or sex or both?

You might want to wait until the episode airs to reveal that little spoiler.

You should be more worried about the fact that this isn't even remotely funny than whether or not it is offensive.

If I understood correctly, they're not singing Bocelli songs. Like in previous weeks, he is the guest vocal coach and the theme is "love songs".

That's Adam Goldberg. He was in Saving Private Ryan and I think he was actually Chandler's roomie on Friends. My favorite line in this week's episode, Joy (to Darnell): "Look at my breasts when I'm talkin' about em!"

Tigris issued a clarification yesterday: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/051110/neth017.html?.v=34 So, they own 4000 shares or about 0.004% of the company. I doubt this has Snyder rushing to get his chairman of the board business cards printed. It's rather amusing how it freaked out SF enough for them to spit out a press release.

With the exception of SWAT, the skyride, and Diablo Falls, they're getting the three non-coaster rides from AW that they didn't already have. -

Do you think they installed the block of steel as a failsafe on the ride without checking to see if it would work? -

This discussion is very 4 years ago. If there was even a remote chance of the train releasing prematurely, the ride wouldn't be in operation. -
I bet Kinzel will surely change his mind when he reads that Extra Large Penis signed the petition with the comment, "I will take a chubby pickle."
