  1. That sounds way more like Thad! Seriously Thad, stop making your house a home and post the next update from your Scandi diary!
  2. This project continues to look more and more intriguing, I really hope I can get out there next year to check it out.
  3. The waffles on a stick were probably the best food item we tried there. The one I had was cinnamon that she put into the white chocolate cream cheese sauce. Soo good! They also did a red velvet and savory ones like a pizza one where a mozzarella stick was cooked inside the waffle.
  4. Soo freaking excited by this! I'm in the process of planning a weekend to go see him reprise the roll
  5. Missed out on bitch Stewie, which only makes me determined to get the new Peter outfit!
  6. ^ that's just wrong! Nope, and you think by now we could handle "not normal" anything!
  7. Packing to be prepped for Mother Nature's PMSing hot and cold flashes is driving me crazy!
  8. Bitchin' weekend event!
  9. Forget the lack of announcement over the obvious coaster instillation, when do we get to Vote on more new booths for their food and wine festival?
  10. Just got the stage built and the tasks under way. Got everything out of the mystery box as well this morning, those are some large decorations!
  11. There was a large part of the group and probably public in the park that felt the same way! Afterwords while walking around and seeing the other groups up there it did make one thankful to be back on solid ground.
  12. ^ cross over excitement! Ugh, I still need three items from the caldron, one of which is Mr. Weed. And Of course my boss comes to town today which means I won't have time to play at all.
  13. No matter how much I play I can't seem to get the final prize in each time frame. I've sort of given up on the Simpsons and been focusing on Family guy.
  14. Should have Freddy by the end of today and I broke down and got Consuela at the cheaper clam price and got everything out of the surprise box. Hurrah for Diabito! Now to get all the left over cauldron items....
  15. First Coaster of 2014: Firechaser Express Last Coaster of 2014: Most likely one of the coasters at Disney World.
  16. There are a lot I am excited to check out next year, but I have to say Wicked Cyclone is probably topping that list. It looks like a great combination of Outlaw run and Texas Giant.
  17. Cool concept! Excited to see what other ideas they have for more interactive experiences for games/attractions to roll out to the industry.
  18. I have to agree, there is something about KD's model that makes me feel a bit off compared to all the other's I've ridden.
  19. Jumping further ahead into the Scandi trip I wanted to share what was easily one of the most incredible experiences ever offered and that I have done. Thank you to Theme Park Review, Grona Lund and some amazing donations to Give Kids the World we were able to actually climb, ride, and crawl our way to the top of their Star Flyer. This was no easy feat and certainly not for the faint of heart given the height, wind, and odd maneuvering through the structure of the ride. The almost 2 hour adventure started with getting harnessed up on the ride platform allowing us all to second guess our sanity while looking up at the tower. Happy to report that no one in our group backed out and all successfully made the climb up and down. The first step after getting secure in a harness was to climb through the structure and scale a small ladder to then climb outside the structure and stand on the ride vehicle. Yes you read that right and it is something no one in their right mind would ever think to do... and that was just the first step in the process! Once the group was safely situated onto the vehicle our lovely guides put the ride in elevator mode and slowly we made out way up the tower holding on for dear life. A little past half way up the ride catches a second ring of steel that I believe helps keep the cables in place. In preparation for this imagine being told on a small platform at over 200 feet in the air to be careful not to lose your hands and prepare for a small thunk! Just one of the many points I had no idea why I was choosing to do this! Step three took place close to 400ft above the ground, and that was to crawl back into the structure and scale the small ladder up and into the elevator room. I think we all breathed a sigh of relief standing in that room and took a few second to gain composure before crawling out a small hatch and standing open air on top of the dome to take in all of Stockholm. While up top Nicole and Jeremiah had a special moment with a proposal, huge congrats on the engagement and for not dropping the ring! The last step was doing all of that in reverse to get back down to solid ground. Something a few of us never thought we would see again... The sum up, it was unnerving, incredible, intimidating, and absolutely one of the best memories and experiences of my life and no amount of thank you's could ever be said. Now how about some pictures: We think we are happy to be here? Thank you to these two for allowing this to happen! Climbing out the little hatch was like the ride birthing you onto the roof. Thumbs up for surviving! Some perspective on how difficult the spaces were to maneuver through and around. Just put the ring on and don't drop it. Proof we all made it to the top! Oh hey there ERT friends! I just wanted to reach out and pet Insane from up here. Once inside the structure, you start second guessing your sanity. 400ft down from that hole.... and it's the only way down. All that separated us from falling to our death The perfect location for trying out my balancing skills right? The mechanical room, aka enclosed space to regain composure. Looking down only proves that Grona Lund is a mess of steel. Another look at the mass of steel along the water that is Grona Lund. The moment of truth! Being back to the height of Jetline was a bit of a relief. That structure looks solid enough, right? And from way up here you all look like little ants! Ooo look, something shiny! Twister just looks so cute from up here! Stockholm is stunning from 400ft in the air. It's hard not to love Grona Lund's location right along the water. One last look before possible death on the way down. And the view that made it all worth while. The biggest congrats to the happy couple!
  20. When you compare $15 for the Mountain Coaster experience vs some kiddie credits that run $10 plus dollars. Well I know what'd I would prefer to spend the money on.
  21. Yay Chad trip reports are back! No tacos though?
  22. Tempted to get Alien and Jason as well.... Decisions decisions... Also soo close to getting Cleveland's Ghost Buster costume and unlocked Francis yesterday. Yay for progress in the growing list of tasks!
  23. ^ Yes you do and give a full report and if it is good enough start the petition to sell it during food and wine!
