Got my copy of Skyward Sword today (technically yesterday, I guess). I'm about an hour and a half into it, and I'm already blown away. The worst part is that I have a paper and presentation I need to work on for one of my classes, so it's going to be hard to balance the two.

I bet $20 they'll try to call the incline loop the "Thorpe Park Loop." But seriously, this is looking like a solid ride. Looking forward to seeing it run.

That spine support on the first drop is definitely interesting. I don't remember seeing anything about it on the original renderings, so I wonder if they just omitted it or if it ended up being added later in the development. Regardless, it certainly makes it look interesting. Can't wait to see the lift and first drop finished - it should be one hell of a sight.

Is it coming out this month already? Holy crap. I'll probably get it soon after the release, but I haven't bothered to pre-order it. Haven't followed the development too much (which might be good, as it'll leave me some surprises once I start playing it), but from what I've seen and heard it should be amazing.

I know Skyrush isn't an I-305 clone, and I wasn't even comparing them to each other. Fooz asked if there has ever been a coaster with a low-to-the-ground layout with airtime hills before. I was saying that I-305 would be one other example of such a coaster. i.e., I'm NOT saying they are clones.

Mine's framed correctly, although I have my screen resolution cranked way up. Just out of curiosity, I lowered my resolution, and the banners came in over the text. So my guess is it's some sort of a resolution issue.

^Agreed. It's not like they'll have unlimited passes each day - it won't ruin your experience in the least. Besides, for people like me who are just starting to get out into the "real" world with jobs and whatnot, its not always feasible to take a weekday off to go to the park when they crowds would be manageable. The Fast Lane allows us to go on the weekends and not have to fight the lines. Like FORCE said, if its not your thing, don't buy it. But for those of us who would benefit greatly from it, I see no reason not to have it available.

Whew. That was a terrible start for us, but at least we finally got our first win. Now with that monkey off our backs, maybe we can concentrate on playing good hockey now instead of all the negativity.
