  1. The brakes used during the ride has been tweaked this season. They no longer use any on the first set of zig-zags (from before you see batman the first time until the police station) and use a whole lot less before the big drop.
  2. ^And you are getting a sound thrashing in fantasy baseball this week as well With how odd the AL West is with 3 of the 4 teams being known to choke, the Angels still have a chance. They are only 3.5 games back in a weak division.
  3. ^They got enough young players to trade for pitching.
  4. As of 6 PM today, the Little Dipper is open to the public. The queue line is impressive (with awesome batman photo ops) and shaded. They were having problem with row 7 now working right and it was closed off when I rode around 6:20ish. If you do want to ride, ride early as the queue for the ride was massive by time I rode and easily over an hour.
  5. ^You sure can, like I hope Iron Wolf is on it's way out
  6. ^At the meeting it was stated it will be a stand-up coaster.
  7. Is it just me or does the show do huge build-ups for stories that end ultra fast?
  8. ^Enjoy those few hours, today was walk-on on everything.
  9. ^It happens to anyone that games and is an important lesson to learn. I learned mine after playing Final Fantasy 7 for 4 hours and then lost it all.
  10. I noticed on the Post page that they have partnered with Wal-Mart as well. There was a banner ad that linked to https://sixflagswalmart.dja.com/ They are doing ticket packs with ERT as well on selected days. The fine print says
  11. I get to hit the Marlins vs. White Sox game. Tickets are going for as cheap as 8 bucks, let see how many people show up.
  12. ^I'm hoping the same, would love to see them put together a winner again.
  13. I'm not buying for a second the only (or real) motive is her being Rachel's mom. I think this could make the rest of the season interesting.
  14. ^You should be able to get every coaster done that day for sure. For re-rides and throwing in more stuff, it can be hit or miss. Just make sure to hit Superman, Ragin' Cajun and (when it opens) Little Dipper first as those lines get awful fast.
  15. Overall, I've seen all but the cruise line one and they were decent. I'm not sure any enthusiast will learn anything from them, but they were nice for a WDW kick when away from the parks. Right now the complete ones is the 6 DVD set. I am guessing the special ones at Disney places will feature more specials on them. The parks were selling the old (and beyond awful) park DVD's at a discount, so this makes me hopeful that these will be seen in the parks.
  16. I forgot where I found this on but here is the info: There are at least 3 versions of this going to retailers, with special "Premier Collection" versions with more stuff will going to Disney outlets. 1. A 6 Pack DVD set with 6 show: Walt Disney World: Behind the Scenes, Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes, Ultimate Walt Disney World, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney Cruise Line & Undiscovered Disney Parks 2. The Blu-Ray that was first talked about will be a BR/DVD/DC combo but only contain Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes, Ultimate Walt Disney World & Undiscovered Disney Parks 3. A single DVD version with Walt Disney World: Behind the Scenes & Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes These are the specials on the Travel Channel and such. Also, the reason for only 3 episodes on BR set is they were the only three shot in HD.
  17. ^^I see the problem of they are trying to do way too many storyline as major ones over many episodes. With doing that the Will/Emma story has been at best skipped over. Mix that with "artist only" episodes skipping most stories, we are left with the season as it is.
  18. The re-ride policy is hit or miss during the slow times. I've been able to marathon the Demon for over an hour and the next day be the only person on and have to exit with no one in the station.
  19. Nice to see Gatorland is still adding to the park after all these years.
  20. The show is back on track for me. The second week in a row and the songs felt natural. I'm glad to see they are moving away from singer gimmicks for now, but I know that won't last for long.
  21. ^They still sold them in my hometown until February of this year. The manufacture of them stopped making them due to the success of the snacker. A shame too as I always loved them as a kid.
  22. Are you kidding me? So there were other people in the group that didn't try to stop her from doing this to her son or calming her down themselves? Some "other adults" they are! To a lot of people, it's normal behavior to do that to a kid. I grew-up where it was accepted to slap the hell out of your kid for doing anything not perfect and other adults do nothing. It's seen as "you raise your kid this way, I'll do it my way" deal. It's not right, but it happens.
  23. Don't worry, I've had well over a dozen anti-fanboy post there deleted. I saw the way they treated you and others; it was pathetic at it's best. Having an option on a park, positive or negative, should not be taken as a personal attack.
  24. Seeing my fiance's student rosters simply stuns me when it comes to phonetically spelled names. Never in my life had I seen the common first names like Cindy spelled Sindiney or my favorite of Thomas spelled Thomomass.
  25. Never would have guessed that. I also like the fact she treats being in jail as a badge of honor and somehow ties that into wanting to kill someone. What a way to spend mother's day, beating your son & hitting cops at an amusement park...while drunk.
