Sadly it was my last coaster of the season - least it was a good one!! Twister at Knoebels!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE that ride. It is sooooo much better at night.

AWESOMELY rough coaster!!! To me the back is the roughest. Just like a good woodie should be.

Who the heck knows... Why is there NO indoor water parks in Baltimore? This just annoys me!

Went to the park on October 15th with some friends and had a amazing time! This was my first time to the park for their Halloween festivities. Even though the boo and I got there early (like 12:30) and the park did not open until 2 there was a wedding taking place right in yard in front of the Haunted Mansion. It was really decorated very nicely and you can tell they wanted a fall/Halloween themed wedding. Also they had breakfast early as well as activities for the kiddies. If was fun watching the kids face plant into the pool of corn at the bottom of the slide. They brought in two temporary rides for the event. There was a spider swing ride right in front of the Antique Cars called Spider Mania (I think) and they brought in a carnival fun house called Monkey House (I think). Yes, the group of us adults and 2 children went through the fun house. The food was great as usual - except for their Maryland crab cakes. Not good at all. Note - never get Maryland style crab cakes outside of Maryland. My BF loved the atmosphere and said he has never seen such great customer service at a park before - well maybe Hershey he said. I will say I don't like how they do not have the entire park open for the event. I really missed getting on the bumper cars!!

^RIP Hypersonic even though in my opinion it was boring - even when it came out. I would love to see them keep all the current line up and add to it. Everyone keeps saying they have the space and they do. I love how their rides are spread out over the park and not all on top of each other like some parks. The park is very well taken care of and I see nothing but good things happening for them in the future.

Personally, I enjoy all of the coasters at the park. I love Hurler - it is rough and that is what I like about it. They layout is simple but very fun to me. Shockwave is still fun to me - no matter how old it gets. I will always remember that as my first ever stand up coaster. For me it is not being the biggest, tallest, or fastest. It is about how much fun you are having.

The festival seems like fun. I would love the opportunity to enjoy it one year.

I came out to my mom first. We were so close at the time and we shared everything with one another. Honestly, I felt the need to come out because I was already dating my first boyfriend at the time and I felt like I was lying to everyone especially her even though no one knew about him. I gently ask her to sit down and ask her if she would always love me. I then proceeded to tell her that I was dating someone I met at the library (I went there every day after school at the time) and she was actually a he. After the initial shock and her worrying about taking me to a specialist so I can be fixed and/or she did something wrong raising me she came to terms with it. It was hard for her at first to see me around another man in a relationship manner. Over time she has come full circle and jokes about it now actually. I have always tried to fully engage her in my life. She has now went to 2 Baltimore pride festivals with me and enjoyed every minute of it. Her first year she was more or less less just observing but now she loves it and talks about going back next year already even though it is not until June. Her favorite part is the drag shows and tells me all the time I should do it because she would be so proud to see me up on the stage.

Awesome update! I WISH fairs here had a lot of AWESOME rides like that.

I'm in exactly the same situation. I was in the opposite situation, and it hasn't gone well He loved being on the trip this summer...just with everyone else but me. I'd told him he would meet awesome people, and he did. Liked their company better than mine . Oh well - we live, we learn. Perhaps we'll reconcile - I still love him, but if not...Single and READY TO MINGLE! You are such a great lovable guy!!! I was glad to meet you on the North East Trip and think you are a fun ball of energy. You will most definitely find someone and I am sure he will be happy to call you his.

I can not wait to ride Black Diamond this weekend!! I plan on getting there before the park opens and get right in line for this since the lines have been long.

Sucks living in Florida when all the coasters are too "tourist friendly" It would be nice to hit all of these in the "off season" and then have easy access to most of the northeast parks. I agree but I would rather live somewhere I can get on rides all year - even if there is a wait. For me its better to wait than not have the ability to ride at all.
