  1. I should have moved to FL when I had the opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. To scare people like me who scare REALLY easily. Also for people who get really into it - like me. What celebrity would you like to replace for a week?
  3. The Lion King is finally coming back to Baltimore - definitely going to try to make it. I keep hearing nothing but good things about this show.
  4. Great update! I would love the opportunity to visit one of these parks.
  5. Yes, I have - I added it to my Spotify. But then again I actually do not mind him. I do not want to start a argument but if you REALLY look at it its not his fault he is so popular - its his fans. If NO one liked him then he would not be every where. On a side note... a MUCH better young singer is Greyson Chance!
  6. I also could not agree with you more either. But say I buy a house now and the furnace goes up - I could NEVER afford to get it fixed.
  7. Being the only/main source of ice cream in a lot of places. Why do we put our selves through it?
  8. I could not agree with you more here Elissa! I rented apartments for 4 years and I had a blast having a place to call my own. I loved that if something broke I did not have to put any money out to fix it. The only downfall that I could find with renting was the rent goes up every year - at least here in Baltimore. It was only about $12.00 a month though. With renting it gave me the freedom to up and move it I wanted/needed to. When you are buying a house it is a lot harder to just up and move.
  9. Not sure if this is the correct thread or not but I wanted to speak my mind on this... So I keep reading all over the internet that the major record labels want to stop producing physical CDs by the end of 2012. This irritates me. If they want me to go 100% digital then they NEED to lower the price of digital files. Why are they so much on iTunes? If I can spend 9.99 on iTunes and only get a digital file I can not physically touch or go to the store and buy the same exact CD for 9.99 (Walmart/Target/Kmart usually have them this price the week they come out) and have something physical to hold with artwork and liner notes than I am choosing the physical CD. I can always copy the CD to my iTunes so I have it on my iPod. Some people like myself do not have a car equipped with a AUX hook up and I do not feel the need to upgrade my car stereo. They say that the inventory is where they lose so much money with CD stores returning un-purchased merchandise. Well if CD stores like FYE did not mark up the prices so high more people would buy them or if they would not manufacture so much. Luckily I have a AWESOME CD store in downtown Baltimore aptly named The Sound Garden that sells their used CDs/DVD/Blu-rays/Video games really cheap. A lot of the time they will have used copies of things the week they come out. Plus ANY used CD on the rack you can take and open and listen to the entire thing before you buy it to make sure you like it, they will also open ANY new CD and let you listen to it. Also with any purchase from their store you can return it within 7 days even if you do not like it. For anyone in the Syracuse New York they have a location there as well - http://www.cdjoint.com.
  10. I know a lot of people do not like many of the movie series that are out now but I follow many of them. I recently saw Paranormal Activity 3 and it is the best one yet. It had the most and best thought out scares I think. I can not wait to see what they do with the 4th one and hope that keep it a prequal too because the ending of this one was pretty creepy.
  11. YAY! All registered for LeviaTHAN! And the countdown begins...
  12. It's funny you bring that up. My mom and I were talking about that. I ask her how would she feel if I went into porn. She said she would laugh every time she saw me - but not at me, it would be because she thinks porn is silly. She said I don't care what you do - its your body go do what you want with it. And then she surprised me and said "go make that money".
  13. So trying to get my deposit together for Leviathon!!
  14. This fair looks amazing! If only fairs around here had rides like that. I love that it is in the trees. Makes it look more like an amusement park than a fair.
  15. I started flipping out...my girlfriend was rather confused... I would do the same thing!
  16. These parks look amazing! I can not wait to get the opportunity to visit them one day.
  17. For me it was not that it was this big thrilling ride. It was the fact that there are not that many coasters like that around anymore. It was the only one around me and the only other I can think of off the top of my head is the one at Cedar Point. I love the feeling of sitting in the back and really feeling that swing of the arm of the seat.
  18. I love reading everyone's reasoning. A none enthusiast probably does not see it as technical as we can and do. Most people just see it as the front/back and people that are scared sit in the middle. We even think of things as technical as sitting on a none wheel versus a wheeled seat on a woodie - on a lot of them it can feel totally different.
  19. Awesome update! If only the Maryland State Fair would get smart and have awesome rides like that. The most awesome rides we are the Zipper, Hi-Roller, and Fire Ball/Ring of Fire.
  20. For me it depends on the coaster: All wooden I want to be in the back - I LOVE to feel the pull of the train and get whipped around. Plus personally I feel like I get more airtime in the back. Everything else I like to a ride on both back and front. I do love the front on inverts as as well as floorless. Also anything that is really tall (above 200 feet) I prefer the back as my first ride. I feel like in the back I experience all of the first hill because by the time the back is at the top the front has already went down the hill a tad. Now something like Nitro I love the front because for some reason it just scares the crap out of me - well I guess it is because there is nothing to hold on to. The none lay down superman coasters are fun at night in the front. I remember being on that on the North East trip last year sitting in the front alone at night - it was pretty awesome. But then again I got on it and sat in the back and literally was the only one in the back of the ride - it was a very surreal feeling.
  21. I understand the reasoning but it still sucks! I never got to ride them this way and I never will.
  22. This past Saturday they were open 2-10.
