Funny that this topic showed up again, I had my first coaster dream in years last night. If I remember correctly, I had just opened up a brand new coaster at...my old highschool. It was a massive, convoluted Arrow Multidimension...with Volare seats hanging over each side. It had a Top Gun theme, right down to the train dropping "bombs" on the scenery (!). Of course, being the awesome person that designed and built the thing, all the girls were all over me (I should've known it was a dream by now) and just as we were about to retire to the afterparty at the end of opening day to celebrate...I woke up. ...

Waiting on a little cash before I can commit to WCB, so hopefully all will go well! Just a question though: Is it easier to get a hotel for the night halfway between the parks and split the distance, or make the entire drive down to Buena Park after SFMM wraps up?

Eh, I voted for the old logo, the new tagline just sounds...weird to me. Not like it's gonna ruin my day though. I do like the shiny white outline around the text though, that caught my eye pretty quickly!

For all those who say no-one cares about Revolution in its sad-current state, I don't remember talking to a single person (gp friends etc) who has ever ranked Revolution higher than second to dead last at Magic Mountain (usually trumped by Viper or Scream). Hell, in tenth grade when a group of us went to the Mountain, we formed the club of the "Metal Trash Can Rolling Down the Hill", our most accurate description of Revolution's ride experience (this coming from people who thought Goldrusher had more merit).

Every time I start to get into the Roller Coasters, Theme Parks, and Whateveritistoday board, something happens there that makes me never want to post there again... I need to find a way to lock myself into the Random board and the game board from now on.

To be honest, I don't see the problem with putting one of the new trains on forwards as well. Sure, the enthusiast crowd will notice that it's the same old ride with harnesses, but we'll be the only ones that will probably care.

^^I do like the "choose your fate" idea, but if the backwards run is a substantial improvement, I can't see why they'd revert back to the way things were.

WDW will give you a far superior "Resort Experience", but for my money I'd take any of the DLR rides or either DLR park over any of the ones in Orlando...maybe I'm just some sort of freak, but I just like the California parks and rides better.

I actually love the Throwback brands (I'm a co-op soda drinker...hell, my favorite drink is Coke and Pepsi mixed) but only in bottles (which my corner yogurt shop has in plentiful numbers, woo!). Otherwise, it tastes like every other canned soda.
