The thing is, I think of movies as more experiences, kinda like how I can appreciate the experience of Space Mountain over the quality of Behemoth etc. So while other movies (like Social Network) may have been better movies quality-wise, I just got so caught up in Tron, despite having no idea what the hell it was about going in. Just putting that out there.

Even so, I think that if I were presenting a concept to potential investors, I'd use Microsoft Word's built in spellchecker...and I'm not a grammar Nazi, so I'll usually not notice things like that, but on one of the pages it was almost overpoweringly bad.

"...this vertically stacked theme park will itself become skyscraper." If the guy can't properly spellcheck his concept (one of a few things I noticed), then how the hell does he think any investors will give this concept any credibility?

I'm seeing an unfortunate lack of Tron in this thread. I don't remember too much of what I saw new this year, so here's a top five and then a jumbled mess of the rest (of the ones that I liked, anyway). Deathly Hallows Part 1 Also liked included: The Road (I think that was 2010) Secretariat Toy Story 3 Robin Hood Kick-Ass But kudos for 2010 for not only giving me my new favorite movie (suck it Avatar), but my two least favorites of all time. 1) The Last Airbender: Just...no. 2) Killers: Even worse. I honestly want to see anyone involved with making that movie pushed out of an aircraft at high altitudes with no parachute.

I was talking from a personal standpoint, I didn't want to sound like I knew either ride too well (as I've never been on one that was all that similar to either...or either ride, for that matter) but believe me when I say that I agree with your standpoint from what I have seen.

Ninja is a pretty good ride, presumably better than Draggin' Iron or X-L-R-8 are/were. Regardless, it's more of a family coaster, whereas Vortex (and presumably Flight Deck) are much more intense experiences. Where Big Bad Wolf and Eagle's Fortress stand, I have no idea.

Well they'd be hotter than ever if society finally figured out how to properly appreciate them...by hurling them into the sun. What came before Jefferson Airplane? Jefferson Zeppelin?

Why is it that after so many years of living in a well-to-do family and never having any interest in instruments...I now have great interest in taking up drums, but have no way to pay for it. Stupid life timing.
