  1. Its quite amazing how they fit everything in there, isn't it? Also I just wanted to take the timeout to say how incredibly close the drop tower (which is great btw) comes to the roof.
  2. I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites last year, its about 20 minutes away from the park and very nice.
  3. This would be a great fit consider they don't have an intermediate coaster there. They have a small children's coaster and then the jump immediately to Canyon Blaster and El Loco.
  4. ^ Interesting question. After visitng this year I can't even fathom where they could fit another coaster. Other rides would certainly have to be removed for it.
  5. ^Annnnnnnnnd that should about cover it on the Green Lantern receiving floorless trains conversation. Any updates on Justice League? Or is it still basically a lot of dirt.
  6. Very cool, thank you for sharing. That part of Boulder Dash was a bit rough when I rode it this past season, but it certainly did not take away from the awesomeness of the ride. Im curious to see how this re-tracking affects the ride.
  7. Montu's pretzel loop is one of my favorite inversions on any B&M coaster. The intensity combined with the dip underground is roller coaster perfection.
  8. Time is a flat circle.....It always comes back to Green Lantern. I think if anything I think it makes more sense if GL got sit down trains rather that floorless (Both aren't happening).
  9. I remember riding Poland Spring Plunge a few times in the late 90's and early 2000's. I also remember getting way more soaked on it then the log flume in Frontier Adventures.
  10. Wow, some really riveting stuff. Im sure this will boost attendence by 0.0005 percent.
  11. Fine by me. From what I heard White Lightening is a mighty fine coaster, so Im all in on that too.
  12. ^ I agree for the most part, its shorter in length due to the area of land the park chose to work with. I'd say it is going to be more comparable with White Lightening than any other GCI.
  13. Intamin Impluse coasters are very solid. That wouldn't be a bad hand-me-down at all.
  14. SFNE doesn't really have a "Gotham City section", we just have a "Put Batman sh*t everywhere" policy. Poison Ivy and Gotham City Gauntlet are hanging out by Superman and Batman, Joker and Crime Wave are off doing their own thing near Mind Eraser and the Teacups and nowhere near the other Batman rides. Also The Dark Knights queue line is freakin disgusting. Its almost as bad as Nitro's. It really isn't bad. What do you think is bad about it? Perhaps the cracked tv monitors, not only that they are covered in bird sh*t more often than not. It isn't that hard to take a hose and spray it. It just looks run down in general.

  16. Pretty crappy they removed the flume and their chute-the-chutes for lesser attractions.
  17. Not sure if anyone has seen/noticed this yet, but there is now a new pov video of InvadR up showing off where that second tunnel will be placed. (For those wondering the second tunnel mentioned in the ride description will be covering the first drop)
  18. Car Crash: The Ride could use a new paint job for sure. My only gripe with SFNE (I know Bill will sympathize with me) is the removal of the log flume.
  19. There are some sick people out there. I voted for "ok". Rollies Coaster has a few decent drops and the looping model at Seaside was so god awful it was funny.
  20. I will admit I was also ho-hum on the Joker announcement at first but now its my 3rd favorite coaster in the park. 1.) El Toro 2.) Batman 3.) Joker 4.) Nitro 5.) Bizzaro
  21. I attest to the sports fan comment. As a huge sports fan myself I can say without a doubt there are sports that are just as on par with their weirdness as coaster nerds/ themepark junkies. There are normal people and weirdos in ever facet of life. Legitemately every hobby has a forum now, endless amounts of weirdos out there.
  22. Still boggles my mind S&S was able to sell them 3 towers lol.
  23. Hobby ˈhäbē/Submit noun 1.An activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure. If you have to attack someone personally as well as their family/child over something like theme parks and coasters which are meant to be fun, then yes it is time to move on. Because....It is simply NOT A HOBBY ANYMORE. I really don't get people, it boils down to the mentality of todays world. For 75% of people if something doesn't go their way even a tiny bit one time they don't know how to handle it. TPR is an amazing site. I'm glad there is a forum like this were there is a community into the hobby that can joke around and not take everything 1,00 percent serious. Its a perfect balance, as someone mentioned before some enthusiasts out there are just down right weird when it comes to their obsession. Be thankful you can log on to here make a joke and post a picture of the beer you just enjoyed at your local park.
