  1. *Logs into TPR* *Clicks USO, IOA thread* *Reads last two pages* *Closes out of TPR* What the HELL did I just read?
  2. Personally I found the whining about Thunderbolt to be overblown. We rode it in September and really enjoyed it. We didn't find it rough at all. Not at all. Once you learn how to ride Thunderbolt it actually has a really intense and unique layout. After that funky turnaround the airtime hills provide crazy ejector air.
  3. Festa Italia I believe. If you don't count Land of Dragons.
  4. I think it really depends on how much revenue these large investments at the Sea World parks turns out. It they're successful and generate some revenue I'm sure they'll turn more attention back towards the Busch Parks. Maybe 2020 is a tad bit early for that though.
  5. You may not see the need for the area but its been a rumor for the park for the past few years. Aftet adding two coasters between 2015-2017 we could see some small installations the next few years until they make a big announcement for around 2020 or so.
  6. I've thought this for while too. And while InvadR would make sense in Norway, it also makes sense in the context of Canada (Vikings attacking a fur trapping village). I don't think it'll change. Also we really need Spain with a Maverick style Intamin coaster. Vikings attacking a trapper village would make "sense" if they somehow entered a wormhole and ended up 600+ years in the future.
  7. - Spain - Greece (maybe redundant with Festa) - Nordic States - Russia - The Netherlands and/or Belgium I'm grasping for ideas but some of these might be cool to see how they pull them off (because they would). And I have no idea where they would be. Maybe Switzerland (though, like you're Greece example, it might be too redundant, this time with Germany). B&M could then build a new roller coaster for them, which would be fun, as they are based in Switzerland. As to where it would go, I have no clue. There is that one area right by Italy, which I think is currently used for the horses. Also, there is that area called "the boneyard" in the woods near the old Drachen Fire spot. If they combined that area and the old Drachen Fire spot, that would be ample size for a new country, but I have a feeling the neighbors would object to the construction there. Yup thats the area I was referring too. It is a pretty decent sized plot of land.
  8. Russia would be extremely interesting. They could place it Drachen Fire's old spot. Although I know there is a huge plot of land on the other side of Festa Italia.
  9. I think after Invadr the next big project for the park may finally be a new country. One can only speculate what country and where.
  10. Do they ever make use of the second load platform for Ka? You'd think logically on peak days, they would . . . . . Six Flags doesn't think with logic.
  11. Can't believe only 30 days. This was the quickest off season ever.
  12. I mostly agree, though I don't particularly care for France. It's okay, but a step down from the other areas. France needs trees and it needs them desperately. What France lacks in trees it makes up for in having Griffin. I love Ireland but they really need a signature attraction to anchor it.
  13. I have to agree, especially with the founders of the beer company being German.
  14. ^ Yup, I'll believe it when I actually see it.
  15. Great updates, can't wait to see what it will look like once the landscaping and theming is in place.
  16. I'm not a fan of Voyage, but I rode it with a pretty strong buzz a couple years ago. Emily and I went to the nearby German restaurant and I had several massive German beers in me before returning to the park. It definitely turned a night ride on Voyage from me usually hating it to it being pretty awesome. Not awesome enough to ride more than once, though... Especially since I had to ride it all by myself in the first place. Tall German beers you say? Where is this place so I can go when Im there.
  17. Throw me in the group that believes a front row ride on Steel Force provides the best experience. It does create a sense of speed, especially during the giant helix. Depending on the train and positiong of the sun at the time you ride you could get some air on the return hills.
  18. Great pictures, can't wait for my first visit to KI this summer. Night rides on Beast and Mystic Timbers are going to be spectacular.
  19. I agree, a drop tower is a logical addition here. A Larson ARM would be ideal.
  20. Awesome, this is great news for rides but not so great news for the already horrible parking situation. Not sure the area is big enough for a new coaster, but we sure can dream.
  21. Unfortunately the coutdown to the sea air absolutely destroying the paint has already begun
  22. It'll be nice to have a diet Untamed only an hour south of me. I will also second the fact that the color scheme is awesome.
  23. Yes, I believe Kings Island does offer a twilight admission ticket as I had arrived after 6:00pm during both visits to the park (July 2014 and June 2016). I had declined the offer because I had made plans to visit for that night and the next day so, I bought the two-day admission ticket to cover both days. I hope this helps with your inquiry. Oh they offer two day admission? Perfect. It doesn't show it on the website so I just purchase it at the gate?
  24. Im planning a trip out here this summer, was gonna do a day and a half at KI and a day at KK. My question is does Kings Island offer a twilight ticket?
