They could name the ride "butt-hole" and we'd all ride it anyway. Railblazer is fine. -

Agreed, except for the 'plenty '.Do not know why folks are on the get rid JJ bandwagon. Let's talk about ridding ourselves of Apocalypse. I like everything else. Lol, even Mind Eraser. Maybe they'll convert Apocalypse to a floorless? It's more likely that SFA gets Dragon Challenge from Islands of Adventure than Apocalypse getting the floorless treatment. Why? -

Just watched the pov and the layout is amazing. The train hauls through the course though and looks a little rattly. Still would love to ride it though. -

^ I should have clarified. Joker's Jinx has had bigger mechincal problems in the public eye. -

I think its because Joker's Jinx has had the most problems mechanically over the past few years. -

A water coaster (perhaps by Mack) would be an awesome addition for Hershey. It would check of many boxes for a water ride, family ride and thrill ride. As for the Wild Mouse being retired, I truly hope not. Everyone that has ridden Hershey's Wild Mouse knows that it is by far one of the best Wild Mouse coasters out there. -

Nice report, but I have to say this is the first time I've ever heard Boulder Dash slander. Beat riders up a little? Yes. Lack of airtime? I'm shocked. -
Made the trek out to Dorney for twilight ticket and due to the weather the park was even more empty than usual. Every single coaster was a walk on or 1-2 train wait. We arrived at Dorney around 5 and left around 7:45 riding everything multiple times for the most part. It was a great day with a bonus since we got to end it with Waffle House. As far as the rides themselves go Steel Force was fun and nothing more in the front row, Talon was its usual very solid self, Demon Drop was terrifying as always and Possessed was still running without the holding breaks. The one ride that really grabbed my attention today believe it or not was Hydra. I had my best ride ever on it, the coaster was absolutely flying through the course delivering, dare I say it, a pretty forceful ride. I don't think the trims were on at all since there was no slowing down at any portion of the ride. If this is the case I hope Dorney leaves them off for good. Now on to the photos. Park was slammed when we arrived. I heard the new Giga will be running through here. Talon is a mighty fine looking coaster. Imagine buying one lol. New flats for all you nerds out there. Standard Talon photo op. Pleasant surprise of the day. Yup, this is Dorney alright. I got more soaked than I wanted too on this. I've ridden this thing more times than I can count and it is still the drop tower that scares me the most. This ride was a big deal when I was in grade school. I always admire the paint scheme on Thunderhawk. This ride always packs a punch. Classic fun ride. I just liked the way this looked. Ended the day with an All-Star special.

Well I'd like to see Greece too, but with Festa Italia the park may see that as a bit redundant. And with Russia, as cool as Busch could make it, I just don't think Russia is the best option with the recent events happening. It's just grounds for controversy, even if it would be undeserved controversy. With regards to a coaster, I'd love to see a Maverick-style Intamin Blitz. I've been saying this since I first rode Maverick. Yea your statement about Greece and Festa Italia has been a talking point of why no Greece for quite awhile. Russia would be awesome but of course people would bitch even if they theme it to 19th or 18th century Russia.

I rode Canyon Blaster last summer and it was one of the best Arrow's I've ever ridden. Super smooth and fun. -

Its so illogical, how could they ever go on. Peanuts theme on an RMC clear means no adult will ride it now. -

It always amazes me how far out of the way the rapids are from the rest of the park. Wait, there were rapids?! Yes, you have to walk past the water park and chairlift along the lake. It's tucked back there. -

^ Have you ridden Joker? Just curious and if so what makes it "meh"? Im dying to know. Also the theming isn't the end all to be all. Who cares if it is themed to Snoopy as the Red Baron? Kings Dominion has a boblsed coaster in the damn "Congo" area. Give me a break. -

I was thinking the same thing. Thats a massive amount of land to invest in just the water park. The area in the back would be great for a coaster, especially right next to the road where drivers can see it up close. If they expanded the dry park out there I wonder if they could build a bridge across the lake where the catering area is.
