I loved Tennessee Tornado, It really does have a great first drop, especially in the back. -

Same, but Brit hates it. The hate is totally understandable for shorter people whose ears are getting boxed by the restraints. -

I actually enjoy Anaconda. The layout is different than your typical Arrow Looper. -

I wouldn't mind that the least bit. -
I'm still trying to understand what that sentence is supposed to mean. Can you elaborate? Same, Verbolten is a great ride and a worthy replacement for BBW. I have to disagree. It's a big jump up in intensity, if the Big Bad Wolf was comparable to Ninja at Magic Mountain which I rode for comparison. If Verbolten is a family coaster, then so is the Loch Ness Monster. I meant in terms of fun. Not of intensity.

I agree with the statements of the park needing to show more love towards that end of the park. More flat rides would be a welcomed addition as that north western area of the park has about 3 coasters with little flat rides in between them. Im in the minority of liking Splash Battle but I have to concur it does take up a pretty good chunk of land which could be uaed for a nice flats package. -

Wow, good thing I got a ride on it last week. That stinks, it was a really fun ride. -
Funny story... At Carowinds we used the Kiosks and then pointed them out to some of our friends. The unhelpful worker behind the counter asked the other worker "what's a kiosk?", I thought to myself..."It's what will replace you VERY SOON!" Their days may be numbered. Kiosks provide a cheap and more effective alternative to the slow, more than occasionally rude workers. Maybe with the money park's save on with this they can add some workers towards landscaping.

Well at least thats encouraging, this park has slowly been improving over the past few years so something brand new wouldn't surprise me. -

I was also blown away with how built up the towns around the National Park are. I was at the Grand Canyon last year and it wasn't nearly as built up as this. -

^ I recommend the wings from the Brewery. They make their own sauce thats out of this world. -

^ I tried the apple pie flavor and it was absolutely delicious, but you need to be careful cause it can be dangerous. -
Dorney is good for what it is. You go there and get to ride a few good coasters in Talon, Possessed and Hydra (depending on how its running) with no lines. I like going for Twilight cause you really don't need a full day there unless you'de doing the water park. If you can squeeze it in for a trip great, if not it isn't the end of the world.

The final part of my trip report begins with breakfast at Crocketts Breakfast Camp. For those that have never been there or ever heard of it, this place is completely legit and probably was the best meal of the entire trip. I reccomend it to anyone in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. After a great breakfast we headed to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. I have to say that going into it I wasn't expecting mucu but it was actually a very very nice aquarium with some nice exhibits and a variety of animals. The aquarium took us around two hours to complete and we decided after that it was time for some Moonshine tasting because whats the point of going to the Smokies if you aren't going to drink some shine? Ole Smokey Moonshine is a beautiful complex where you can taste a wide variety of Moonshine for five dollars and that five dollars is given back to you in the form of a five dollar coupon. As for the flavors they had Huckleberry, Orange, Key Lime, Margarita, Blue Flame (162 proof so be careful), Salted Caramel Whiskey, Fruit Punch and Apple Pie along with some of their cream liquors. Needless to say I dropped 130 dollars in there and walked out with a free carry bag. All in all this was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to return to the Great Smoky Mountains sooner rather than later. Croketts had great theming for a restaurant. The menu is an old newspaper. Pork Cops in gravy with homefries, eggs and a biscuit. Ripley's entrance The first tank you see in the lobby. The aquarium starts by taking you through the rainforest. Fresh water stingrays Electric Eel Mudskippers, everyone knows these lovable little bastards. Jellyfishing, Jellyfishing, Jellyfishing The control room was actually wild complicated. Most people don't realize all the engineering that goes into aquariums. At least I didnt. The aquarium had plenty of sharks which was cool. They had two massive Sawtooth Sharks. There's a big ole catfish. I wonder how he'd taste fried. Seahorses I don't think I've ever seen Baracudda in person before this. A glimpse of the Sawtooth Shark in the tunnel. This here is a Reef Shark For those of you who don't know Nautilus' are some of the most ancient creatures around. This crab had to at least be 3 1/2 to 4 feet. I was really proud of this picture of the Cuddlefish The aquarium ends with the Penguin exhibit. Alright this is where the real fun begins. They show you the process of making the moonshine on site. My free carry bag since I spent so much lol. I hope you all enjoyed the trip report. See you all soon! It is a great looking complex. There is two in Gatlinburg and one in Pigeon Forge. Then you get to taste!!! -

During my visit I was thinking about how the only thing missing from their lineup is a 200 foot+ coaster.
