The almighty dollar that Harry Potter can provide them with. People travel far and wide to HP world, not for Dragons so I guess this new HP coaster with an actual theme from the movie can provide them with even more marketing opportunities. Personally as a person who isn't a fan of Harry Potter it is such a bummer and a really unfortunate circumstance.

If diabetes had a look, that creation would be it. -

Let me rephrase that. I shouldn't have said they don't care about the dry side but they are content with their coasters on the dry side. SFA just poured money into a ROAR retracking so I don't see an RMC retrack coming anytime soon and they certainly aren't going to build one from the ground up soon. -

I'm so jealous that you don't remember November 9, 2016. Because that day drastically effected your life so much. You still live in a free country where you post in a themepark forum every day. As for SFA, I think they are moving the way of Dorney park in a sense that there is no need to pay attention to the dry side as much when the waterpark is the main draw. -

Great report on Dollywood. I agree that Thunderhead beats you up a bit. A rode it twice, once in the back and then again in the front with no desire to ride it again after that. Wild Eagle is fantastic. It was my first Wing-Rider and I have to say I'm a fan especially in the front row. The visuals are incredible. Mystery Mine is another gem. A little rough but its fun factor surpasses the roughness. Awesome theming to boot. Lightening Rod, what else is there to say beside it is an absolute beast and I agree that it does flail your upperbody around a bit so you better have control or else you'll be slapping the people next to you with your arms. It is a shame Tennessee Tornado was Arrow finally doing things correctly, wish we got a few more coasters from them. Lasty, I love the practical effects of Blazing Fury. Can't wait to see more!

I'd like to second what Robb said, Im probably not going back to Universal until the Nintendo project is complete. Just no need cause the interest isn't there with no dragons anymore and the removal of jaws. I wish they would stick to rides with more practical effects. Maybe Nintendo World can bring some of that back? Fingers crossed.

Phobia is an incredible ride, after ridin both that and Tempesto I truly believe it has to do with the shorter cars plus no OTSR. -
Okay so I just got back from an evening visit to the park and I must say that in the 20 years that I have been going to Great Adventure I have never had such a weird experience. The rides and wait times were all manageable as we got to ride whatever we wanted to but my God was the place a free for all. I'm not sure if the solar eclipse was messing with everyone this week but the freaks were out. I tend to enjoy people watching and I have to say this was a day for the ages. You couldn't invent in your mind some of the people were seeing. I see the whole handing out a ticket on ride lines thing has passed since we witnessed line cutting numerous times today. Teenagers were just sitting on the handrails all over the stations without the employees saying anything as well. The big kicker was around 9 pm when we decided to ride Nitro for the second time. There was a group of college aged guys smoking a joint on the queue line by the trees in the switchbacks, not an employee to be found. I'm not one to complain about things like that but come on, we have to draw a line somewhere. Maybe management is giving up since its towards the end of daily ops but boy, was it the twilight zone there today. The B train on Nitro had a band aid on the zero car. Was this someones after use or did Nitro injure itself? It was cool to see the fountains on Skull running for once.

Just being honest here, I think that's actually dumber than not knowing how to use social media correctly. Someone who "deletes Facebook & Twitter" out of protest of the platform, IMO just doesn't know how to use the platform and at the end of the day will be more out of touch with the world than someone who does know how to use those social networks. They aren't bad tools, you just have to not be an idiot when using them, but deleting them makes you a bigger idiot than the horrible people who troll social media. Sorry, just my personal take on things on someone who is 24/7 engrossed in social media. No they aren't bad tools but I just didn't find it as fun as they used to be. There are plenty of other platfroms to "keep in touch." I was just sick of the hottakes of people who clearly have no idea what they're talking about. Also at the end of the day I like the fact of not looking at my phone as often. -

Welcome to my d̶a̶i̶l̶y̶ hourly struggle! I deleted Facebook last year and recently deleted Twitter and I don't miss either at all. I kept Instagram because I do enjoy pictures. -

....and thank you for reminding me why I prefer to spend time in Europe! Where you can see a proper pair of breasts on public advertisements in theme parks without people freaking out! Well now, if hell is a coaster I'm on the first train out.
