Everything about Nor'Easter is awesome besides the ride itself. I highly doubt Six Flags would be inclined to do expensive trackwork on Mind Eraser when they know people will ride it anyway.

Its a myth. I won't deny SLC's have a great layout but the rest of it is just so poorly executed.

I will certainly be visiting WW all winter and will make it a point to get photos of any work being done. I won't be able to get on the pier but they can't keep me off the beach right next to the ride! Thats encouraging. I will certainly check it out in that case.

Too bad they don't open Great Bear for the Holiday event. It's totally possible. Also, I find it strange that Lightening Racer isn't open for it either if Wildcat is. Fahrenheit has a manufacturer set temperature limit at which point the attraction is allowed to run. The park is required to follow that. I believe the same is for Great Bear. As for Storm Runner and Skyrush, I believe those aren't open for the fact that it would be very uncomfortable for guests. Lightning Racer isn't run because of concerns of stopping mid run. Wildcat there isn't that concern because of the dynamics of the ride. Yes Intamin temp limit blah blah blah. Great Bear can certainly run if Great Adventure is running B&M's in January and I can't see how much a difference in "dynamic" LR is than Wildcat. I think as mentioned before it has more to do with location.

This level of civil banter is far superior and more entertaining than the cesspool of complaints and pile-ons that occurs in other threads. I haven't been on the forums lately due to work starting as well as being in the hiring process for a new job but I agree. The Great Adventure thread is one of the more normal ones on this site.

Alright people, last part of the the trip report. On Labor Day we wanted to beat the traffic back home to NYC so we checked out of the hotel around 10 am. On the otherhand we didn't want to rush home to sit there. So we opted to take a pit stop in Wilmington, Delaware to visit the Brandywine zoo and grab some lunch. If there is one thing I love just as much as Themeparks, it is definitely Zoos. The Brandywine zoo is tucked in the back of Brandywine park and isn't that visible from the street. That being said, it is a very, very small zoo but a very, very nice zoo. Admission is only 7 dollars and it actually has a decent variety of animals to see. If you're ever in the area and have an hour to kill I'd recommend the Brandywine Zoo. This here is an Andean Vulture. He did not move the entire time we were there. Here is Bobcat blending in with the rock. You can see why they're such succesful hunters. If you love honey and are feeling daring...Here is your chance. Serval couldn't be bothere with us. This is a Golden Tamiran Monkey. They're fun to watch. They're like little schizophrenic people. They had an Amur Tiger. He is asleep now but more from him later. Two llamas, one being a creep hiding behind be shed. #WhatsInTheShed? #MysticTimbersSubliminalMessage This is a Rhea. The third largest bird behind the Emu and of course Ostrich. Tucan Sam. Whatever, I tried. Mandatory goat break. We do this at every zoo that has a petting zoo. This is a SandHill Crane. He kept walking around his enclosure, screaming like a lunatic. Otters were chillen. *Cues National Anthem* Capybara, the worlds largest rodent. Better known for being on the menu of Anacondas and Jaguars. Told you the Tiger would be back. I'm convinced Red Pandas are the cutest animals on the planet. OH MY GOD! Thanks for reading guys!

No, but I heard its a great hangout. Dogfish head has a brewpub and Inn that I think I may check out soon. So if I do that I'll check out Starboard as well. The Dogfish inn is in Roheboth. Yeah Dogfish Inn is pretty cool. And the Starboard... lol god damn. Happy hour starts at 9AM and then basically it's a party until 1AM. They make awesome Crushes too which somehow taste great despite being about 80% Vodka. lol

Thank you. The other two modes outside of NE's do have a bit of a funky layout. The helix's are bizzare but I actually enjoy the straightaway. Definitely enhances the speed.

Thank you. Boldikus I agree with what youre saying. Having ridden SFNE's Superman, that one is superior but its always nice to ride different hypers. As for going back, nobody goes out of their way to go to SFA, however it is nice to pay it a visit when in the area.

I know any person with Gadv as their home park will appreciate this.
