How did Joseph go? We're doing South Pacific this summer and I'm probably going to audition for it. I love that Nellie's songs are not astronomically high. I can sing soprano, but I can't belt out the really high notes. I may have a good chance!

Went to see Black Swan with my friends Saturday night. Natalie Portman did a fantastic job. Overall it was good, but I wasn't blown away like I expected to be. The dancing was beautiful.

The Year Without a Santa Clause, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. "Put one foot in front of the other..." We have most of these on DVD and my 4 and 5 year-old both adore them. We even have some obscure ones like The Leprechaun's Christmas Gold.

Gah, I had to drop out of line yesterday with 26 minutes left. I was just barely going to make it before I had to leave work (would've had to stay late about 5 minutes), but they stopped at 26 minutes left to refill and it would have pushed me way past quitting time. I was so frustrated. But I'm back in line now with 5 hours and 50 minutes to go. Had no problem getting in line this morning.

Oh, aside from the Twilight yawnfest, we also recently watched Inception and The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Loved them both. Inception is definitely one you have to pay close attention to, but luckily it's one you can't take your eyes off of from the beginning. Very interesting story and complex plot; still not sure if I "get it" completely, but I loved it nonetheless. I think it will take watching it a few times to really catch everything. The Fantastic Mr. Fox was very cute and definitely re-watchable. My kids loved it, and even my husband has been walking around doing Foxy's trademark. Loved the humor in it. We will definitely be adding it to our library.
