Better, but even that could do with a few trees and bushes in the ride area to make it a little more exciting.
I like how the track before the curve still has the attachments for the walkway due to it being on the lake at Geauga.
SFMM really could do with at least some grass under Scream though..
..and there's me thinking it was a smaller coaster - what a surprise to find it crosses two other rides
I am still wondering on the capacity of the ride though - I'm sure they have some genious plan to reach a higher throughput than other GCI's - but will be interesting to find out.
They have another proposed coaster of 160ft going in near The Swarm in the future, so that defies the 120ft myth.
Thorpe are generally quite good with planning applications, and the next new coaster has already been approved as part of their long term development plan. Obviously subject to a final specific application as we have seen with the previous coasters - and they all went through okay.
It's gonna be one impressive view from the dome balcony in a few years..
But we are talking about the park that dispatches coasters without checking restraints as they trust their engineering to ensure you are safe. As mentioned, none of their coasters have seatbelts, and if you have an accident, you are responsible. Love the German way..
Will be very interesting to see how they do this.
Exactly - Legoland is a huge park now with a lot of rides which unfortunately are not great capacity, so good planning is needed on when to visit. I think the park has the friendliest staff of any in the UK.
Nice pics. The ride does look a little tame.
Thorpe's ride will be a lot bigger, with a much more thrilling first drop and huge zero-g roll.
Similar situation to when Air opened - then out-thrilled by the Superman's etc.
