Tough one, but I think I'll give my edge to Raptor Mezzanine or orchestra seats (in a theater)

Link Thanks for the title change, Larry! -
There's a car dealership near my hometown called "Bob's Dodge." His commercials were very cheap and the spokesman was a little creepy. I wouldn't mind the commercial if it weren't for the very creepy slogan, "He just wants to get you a loan." Didn't catch it? Say it out loud and a little faster! Makes me shudder every time.

Most Complicated Restraints
VinTheAttendant replied to tribar's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Catapult at SFNE has some really bizarre restraints. First, there are those shoulder harnesses that lower on top of you. If you don't position yourself just right, you will have a really uncomfortable ride. Then there's the lap bar. It holds you in nice and snug, but a little too snug. It's like a boa constrictor; the more you breath out, the tighter it gets. Then again, with the forces you feel on this ride, you'd be glad the restraints are this complicated. -
Amtrak is beginning to cancel service. South of D.C. has already been cancelled. Essentially, all east coast trains will be stopped after 12 PM tomorrow. No trains will be running Sunday. My train gets into Philadelphia at about 11:30 AM tomorrow, so I have my fingers crossed that I make it in on time. Edit: Made it! My train was one of the last ones they let through NYC.

^Only northern Connecticut has the Tropical Storm Watch. It seems like everything south of Middletown has the same hurricane watch. But the weather following the hurricane is supposed to be really nice!

Tomorrow, I'll be heading from "Tropical Storm Watch" north Connecticut to "Hurricane Warning" Philadelphia. I think I'm going to have a fun weekend

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said
VinTheAttendant replied to maliboomer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I consider saying "Six Flags" to be a nickname for the park in reference just like you'd call someone named James "Jim." While it is mildly amusing that many GP don't know there are other Six Flags parks, I don't think that labeling folks who say "let's go to Six Flags" is worthy of this thread. I just remembered another one from my ride attendant days. I was at Scream at Six Flags New England when a father enters the ride with his very young son. I checked his height and he was way below the height limit. I apologized and informed him that his son was not tall enough, but his comeback was, "There is no height limit." To be fair, he did reference that the map did not post the height limit of Scream (to my own dismay), but I told him that every ride has a height limit and he finished hating me by the time the ride ended. Just a simple misunderstanding. Edit: Good point -
A bunch of my friends and even my Dad reported feeling something all across Connecticut. I was about 10 miles away from all of these reports and felt nothing. Interesting shock* for the east coast I must say. *no pun intended
