  1. Kinzel got Cedar Fair into this mess, patrons of the parks are not happy nor are the shareholders. If this is the only way Kinzel thinks he can salvage the company he ought to stop aside and let someone who cares about the shareholders and patrons take over. This is very self serving on his part to protect his own money. Does anyone remember Linens and Things? Apollo Group took them private and folded the company 2 years later when they couldn't turn the company around quick enough. Do I trust the Cedar Fair parks to these guys? Hell no, especially if Kinzel is still in charge.
  2. Most amazing show ever!

  4. Michigan's Adventure is the weakest park in the chain. Food selection is weak. Shivering Timbers is the only coaster worth re-riding. Flats are low in both quality and quantity. It gets no love from Cedar Point, because it is out of the way and has a much smaller pool of potential customers. Water park is underrated though.
  5. ^^Most people will say: Superman: Ride of Steel and Wild One
  6. ^^I think the children obsession is just so that they can replenish their ranks and and a child's mind is more pliable. My first reaction when they showed Claire with the gun was that she was a new Rousseau. Does this mean she will eventually turn on Kate accusing her of stealing Aaron. Do you mean that the "sickness" is something claiming the bodies? Or that once you have the sickness, you are actually no longer the living person you used to be but only served as a host for the smoke monster? My question is how exactly does one acquire the sickness? I don't know where I'm going with the following: We now have 3 people who were near death from gunshot wounds that mysteriously lived (Locke, when shot by Ben, Sayid and Ben himself). We also have people whose dead bodies arrived on the island dead yet the Smoke Monster/Man in Black took their form (Christian, Yemi, Locke). I think the smoke monster has only appeared in the form of dead people, is that correct? Thanks everyone for clearing up the Ethan/Claire, Aaron's name question. When I rewatch the episode I'll pay closer attention.
  7. Because CP is going to market it as a coaster and coasters usually don't have a large last drop.
  8. If you were 20 years older the Boost Mobile Shuffle would have made sense. Doesn't mean it would be funny, but would make more sense Budweiser has category exclusivity during the Super Bowl broadcast.
  9. I heard of a cruise ship out of Davonia that allows such actions.
  10. Still Spoiling ^maybe, but didn't Claire say something to Kate later in the show that made it appear Ethan said the name first. Also, of course Claire can shoot a gun now, the others told Jack his sister is now changed or evil (can't remember the exact words).
  11. The 3:39 mark of the Knoebel's video has convinced me to buy the DVD.
  12. SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ethan - WTF? Nice touch but how does he know Claire will name the baby Aaron?
  13. Most of the people seen in these videos are probably already brain damaged. Just not sure if it happened before or after their creations were ridden.
  14. I think hell has just frozen over as three females posted in a row. Welcome and glad you all enjoy the site and all the effort Robb, Elissa and the ASSistants put into it.
  15. It always good to see multiple perspectives of the same trip. Some of those animal towels are just creepy.
  16. The number of tune-in "commercials" (this year for CBS shows since they broadcast the game) does not vary significantly year over year. Also, there were not more minutes of commercial time sold locally versus last year. The networks are obligated to give a set number of commercials minutes each hour to the local affiliates to sell, that does not change each year. I'm not sure of the exact time, but let's say each affiliate station gets 2 minutes of commercials to sell locally each hour of the broadcast. In larger markets, nationally advertisers try to buy that inventory to run their "national" ads in local markets. However, if you live in a smaller city the local commerical time might not be purchased by a national advertiser and you are more apt to see an ad for a local retailer. So those living in larger cities are not seing ads for local retailers. It all depends on where you live. I remember the commercial environment watching the Super Bowl in small town Gainesville being quite different than watching it in New York. Burger King, Coors, Pespi or Ford might buy the local inventory in New York (and other major cities) to supplement existing media schedules and counter the major sponsors of the game. In small towns like Gainesville the inventory was sold to Sonny's Real Pit BBQ or The Oaks Mall.
  17. To tell you the truth, this year the party I was at was very loud and I really didn't catch as many commercials and hardly any sound. That's one of the reasons the Google one stood out with just the music. Actually thinking of unaided recall only Google, Budweiser (Where people formed the human bridge) and the e-Trade spots were ones that I could recall. As people mention the Coke ones, and Snickers I remember them, but if the ad did not leave an impression when airing in this environment it is wasted money. FYI - There were no more program tune-in spots than usual this year. Dave Thomas - Unfortunately many Agency creative folk have awesome ideas that get killed and watered down by the client and you and Ice Bat are still an acquired taste. You're not ready for the Big Time, yet.
  18. The Google one is the only one that stood out to me. My friends and I were laughing at the number of occurences of men in their underwear and midgets. Seemed to occur at least once in every commercial pod.
  19. ^^Even better he is still 0-4 against the Florida Gators>
  20. Reggie Wayne dropping that pass on 4th down with 1 minute to go cost me and my friend's $500 each. I hate the Colts!
  21. ^^Robb - I think the perception is that there was not a wide border on both sides in the past forum. When things evolve people notice a change but can't always point out the specific details that don't have any functionality. It's human nature.
  22. In the T&C I just have to wait for the Rules concerning what the video must include before I start work on it. Its not as if i'm short of video either -Craig Craig - I think you need to be more concerned about the mental health disclaimer.
  23. The level of detail in changing the price on the combo meal made me vote for WillMontu's FastFood.
