The Meadville Tribune reported Tuesday that a Crawford County judge has delayed the sale until after a Nov. 24 hearing on the objections. Conneaut Lake Park had been scheduled to be sold Nov. 7 to recoup more than $927,000 in taxes owed to Crawford County and other entities. But the attorney general is opposing the sale because the park is a tax-exempt charitable trust, among other issues. Conneaut Lake Park’s trustees still hope a financial reorganization will allow them to redevelop, revitalize and expand the facilities. The park opened in 1892.

Isn't this just a myth? I have no idea if this myth is true. I think the trend that should be pointed out is the lack of new wooden coasters for Cedar Point in recent years. Gold Striker is the only one built over the past 5 years.

Well why haven't they fixed it. its been broke almost the whole season. They are being cheap. They are not fixing it. Maybe, just maybe they are waiting on parts. The local SkyRide parts store was out of what SFGAdv needed.

Your trip report is far better than Thad's, because it lacks photos of Thad and ultra-dorky coaster photos.

I have to admit, in the interest of time I just went to the Park Index, searched for the word "tagada" and any ride named Tagada came up. Maybe some of the South American ones weren't named Tagada, I'll double check when I can.

El Toro is much better than "average" on a cold morning. Still better than 90% of other wooden coasters.

It would still be on top of wetlands.

The Zamperla one at China Dinosaur Park was fun. It was themed to pterodactyls and in the dark.

I agree with this statement. The inconsistency at the Italian place seems to occurs when the food sits a little longer. It's a paradox as that makes it best to hit the place when it is most crowded.

And of course, Air Crow at Indiana beach is ok on a typical day, but on a windy day gives great rides.

Nice to see the winners of Face-Off doing some real work. I love seeing the creations but hate the drama on those types of shows.

A dark ride is needed for many reasons. It helps round out the park's offerings by providing more variety. Dark rides can generally be enjoyed by the whole family so families generally love them. They give patrons an opportunity to escape the sun or rain.

Thanks for this insight, I was curious if the water table was the primary issue with the parking lot.
