Maverick. The ride had broken down earlier so I had to wait I think about an hour before it began operating again. Then I had to wait another additional hour in the slow moving line that had spilled onto the midway. Did I mention it was HOT that day?
Oh heck ya, I've had waterslides scare me! I used to be terrified of waterslides, along with coasters.
But that was a long time ago and now I'll ride any waterslide (or coaster) you ask me to (well, almost any waterslide, I won't do the really big speed slides.)
I can see them finishing the track by either tomorrow or Wednesday, but definitely this week.
Thanks for the pictures, I was getting tired of looking at a crooked webcam.
Personally, I think Mean Streak at Cedar Point is the roughest coaster I've ever been on. CP should burn it to the ground and replace it with something that's at least somewhat fun. A close second would be the Anaconda at KD. That thing left restraint parts embedded in my ears!
Actually, the Turtle is one of two tumble bugs remaining, the other one is at Conneaut Lake. And don't forget Auto Race! That's the last of its kind as well.
The first corkscrew's done.
Judging by the webcam images, it looks like they're beginning to work on the cobra roll. Hopefully I can make it out to Hershey Park this summer to ride this awesome coaster.
Hello everybody!
My name's Eric and I'm from Monroeville, Pa. After being a lurker for a few months I finally decided to join the bandwagon. My home park is Kennywood and my favorite coaster is Millennium Force.
Coaster + Airtime = Yummy!!
