  1. That's one tall sky ride. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Giant Wheel replaced with Reeses' Extreme Cup Challenge?
  2. I'm working right now on my second NL coaster, Ice Nine. Here's the link to its NLDC page: Ice Nine - Kennyweird If you haven't downloaded my first coaster yet, you can get it here: www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47434 If you download it, please remember to leave a comment.
  3. Here's a picture of the Martian sunset taken by the Spirit rover. Isn't it just awesome?
  4. Robb, you should post videos of you exercising... On second thought, don't! No one wants to see you drenched in sweat.
  5. So its going from semi-ghetto but still appreciable amusement park to an ultra-ghetto, sleazy flea market. That's freaking wonderful. Now instead of riding rides you can buy a broken radio that bursts into flames as soon as you plug it in.
  6. It's about time someone posted Kennywood Memories! Thank you, Shane; thank you for giving Kennywood the love it deserves.
  7. My first coaster was Lil' Phantom at Kennywood. Same here, but it was also my first looping coaster.
  8. Sorry for bringing this back up, I just want to point out a flaw with Wes' theory. What the color theory assumes is that although each person sees using a different color arrangement, the amount of contrast between two colors is the same regardless of the individual. For example, I took a screenshot of Wes' post and inverted the colors. Although it uses a different color arrangement, the amount of contrast is still the same as the non-inverted one. What Wes described was color blindness, not color theory. Like I stated in my last post, I personally don't believe we see in different color arrangements, I just wanted to point out a flaw with Wes' idea. See what I mean? Different color arrangement, same contrast.
  9. Here's mine. If any of you read my Hersheypark Photo TR, you might recognize the background. My desktop. Half of it is NL related stuff.
  10. It was so hard to choose, they were all so freaking good.
  11. I never knew TOGO had a logo...
  12. ^I already provided that link. Seriously though, if you have NoLimits, just take a moment to download it and tell me what you think. I need the feedback.
  13. ^Download it and you can have all the screenshots you want.
  14. ^It's supposed to have a "dark energy" theme to it, so I chose a color scheme that I thought would best reflect that. Maybe I chose wrong. If you want more pictures, go here: www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p5191
  15. I give you my first "good" NL coaster, Strangelet! Strangelet is a fast paced B&M hyper with lots of speed and extreme airtime. However, since it is my first predominately tool-built coaster, it does have a few design issues. In order to make this easier for the TPR crowd, I've decided to only upload the actual track file and forgo the textures and 3ds's. They weren't impressive anyway. Constructive criticism is welcome. **Requires 1.6 friction** Strangelet.nltrack
  16. I think my neck just broke. Really, and I mean REALLY, work on the pumping. And to improve on DBru's definition of pumping, pumping is basically a sudden change in radius in a drop or a turn. In order to avoid this, always make transitions fluid-like and natural. Here, watch this video of the Hulk to see what I'm talking about. Watch the track. Note how everything flows together; there are no sudden changes in direction, no sudden jerks, etc. This is what you're striving for. Granted, if you're hand-building you'll never reach the level of mathematical perfection found on real-life coasters or tool-built NL coasters, but I've seen people get pretty darn close.
  17. My cat might have leukemia, in which case we may have to put her down.
  18. Given the high amount of genetic similarity within our species, I'd have to say that, for the most part, we all see the same colors.
  19. I actually looked this up. Apparently the spider is a Golden Orb Weaver and the bird it's feasting on is a Chestnut-breasted Mannikin, a type of finch, which is at most 3-4 inches in length. So in reality the spider is probably only about the size of your palm. In other words, the spider looks bigger than it really is.
  20. Internet forums are a powerful thing... Congratulations, you're going to Disneyland!
  21. Obviously you've never been to Marineland. The only thing truly "marine" about it, apart from a few dolphins and orcas, was its name. The rest of it had this bizarre feudal Germany-like theme.
  22. BOO! The first drop looks like it's weak sauce! Oh well, at least it will have something in common with Kraken. Hopefully the rest of the layout will make up for the first drop.
