I was able to find a POV and I think I am even more confused about this ride than I was before. As the story line goes you enter the hotel than are suddely in a tomb in egypt before suddenly showing back up in the hotel?

I have a feeling this is not ment for any us parks... however it would be nice if I am wrong.

Good to finally hear a target opening date. Hopefully it's ready in time for our stop on the Italy tour.... However knowing how Intamin is with water rides (or anything really) I won't hold my breath.

I really don't think that idea will work... It would take some work to attach it to KK and there is a building at the base of the tower. Not to mention how far away the tower is from the park.

What I see them happening is them removing the go-karts and T2 and using all the area from the giant wheel/thunder run south for the water park. That will leave them plenty of room for expansion and will get rid of that huge walk around.

Just look at Legoland, they took a closed run down park with a bad rep, reopened it with a new look, new standards and it has been a success so far. If anyone can do that with KK its the Kochs.

Damn, I was there in November and no one was around riding or operating it and I didn't want to pay the $5 or $6 bucks and chase an employee down to run it so I said I will just get it next time. Lesson learned I guess

I think its safe to say from the carousel horse in the logo that they plan to operate the rides there aswell but it will be interesting to see what they keep... I can see the SLC leaving.
