Well now i'm sorry for doubting you.

^ They probably know how crappy of a ride it is and that is a long walk around the waterpark for one ride. If they add the rapids into the water park that will allow them plenty of room to expand.

Personaly I feel GL is done... but hopefully that is not the case.

I completely understand the fee, just curious how well $10 will go over I know other parks that charged less and upset alot of people.

$10 to just walk in? Hopefully that is just for this weekend because that seems high.

I talked to several people who sat through Matt's speech (I left right before to meet up with someone) and no one heard him use the word "coaster" or "winged" in his speech just that there will be something we will want to return for next year.

I can confirm that it was being re-assembled yesterday while I was at the park. Maintenance was working on it all day saturday. It was fully assembled last weekend and had its crew at the ride but I never seen it open.

Weird, everyone I talked to said they only mentioned that we will have a reason to return next year but didn't say anything more.

^ Last year the wait was about 30-45 minutes from the start of the day till about 6 (One train). Than started dropping to about 10 minutes at 8.

I can see the Music Express going in on the south side of the park as there is plenty of places to put it down there. And glad to see a restaurant is coming, I love Waldameer but always felt they were lacking in the food dept.

I will be there Sunday for the Travel Channel shoot. Again next weekend for Spring Con.

I have seen all the movies many times and have read all the books (except the last) and I still had no idea what was going on in the ride. Even after 5 rides I still couldn't piece together the storyline... just seemed like they just picked the most iconic scenes and rolled the dice hoping they would work. But they just ended up with a big multi million dollar mess.

^ The yellow lines were for the halloweekends parade, and the two mystery paths were for Blood on the Bayou (The one behind Dragsters lo.cker.s were the exit the other was the entrance. Great update thanks!

I agree. The park will not survive if the board doesn't start to get their act together and learn to work with those investing into fixing up the park, rather than try to screw them over later.

^Swank did not operate the blue streak. That was done by Lenny Adams (the same person who is taking over the rides this year).

I agree as long as we get there on LeviaThon I'll be happy, but sadly I'm not holding my breath! I feel confident that it is safe for this year but not as confident about it after that. Im surprised it took this long for the parks problems to make the media...

I have seen some try and it's not very pretty But for most people I know in the haunt side of the industry inside and out of amusement parks it's not about the money for them. Alot of people do it for the love of scaring people. Heck I know some people who have good paying jobs like doctors, government jobs, and even lawyers who volunteer their time for the chance of making a grown man pee his pants. I think that is why I love the haunt industry so much. Its just full of people from every walks of life coming together with the same goals and using their own creative ways to do it to complete that goal of getting "The Best" scare which everyone aims for and the best part of the night is sitting in the break room at the end of the night and sharing stories and hearing from others on their experiences that night good and bad.

Remember this is still just a rumor but atleast this is a strong rumor. I really hope this happens as the line is a huge problem.
