This is my 5th season in the haunt industry and I am happy to help anyone with questions. 1. Stretch your muscles, this will help prevent you from getting sore at the end of the night. 2. Loosen your vocal chords, this can be done by stretching your jaw and humming. This helps prevent you from losing your voice. 3. Scare for the middle of the group, most groups send the bravest first. 4. Listen for names, Especially girls sometimes someone in the group will say it accidently and sometimes the BF will give it to you. Use it! 5. Know your scene, study your scare zone and figure out how to use the resources you have (Shadows, Props, Lights, and other hiding places) and try some variety. Find out what works and doesn't work. 6. Create a character, Create a name for your character and put together a story line and put it together with your scene. 7. Reload! You cant get everyone that come through especially if they are in a group and in a line get every 4-5 person. Bang, reload, Bang, reload (Im sure you get the idea) 8. Stay in character! This is one of my biggest pet peeves when my monsters do this or when I go to another attraction and I am coming to a scene and I start hearing "Is someone coming""Are there people?" Don't do that because you will have just ruined your scene. As soon as you put that costume get in character, if it has an accent use it until your take of the costume. 9. Keep your costume on, unless you look like Kelly Osbourne your not scary. Keep your costume on! 10. If someone isn't scared just back off, you can't win them all. 11. Watch horror movies and visit other haunts for ideas. 12. Know the characters on either side of you, they can help you. And a few general tips: Bring water bottles, if you can a gallon should get you through the night. Bring Cough drops. Don't wear good shoes, more than likely you will have to pitch them at the end of the month and make sure they are a dark color. Wear black. Have Fun! Oh and one more thing, don't say "Boo", boo is not professional so save it for casper! Good Luck!

Wow this is just a poor move on IB part and a slap in the face to their patrons.... and since they took down the facebook page I bet you they will have a few unhappy guests show of saturday who didn't know they were closing.

Maybe she was planning on leaving it in a locke_r...

Could be for some general backstage stuff or new warehouse... if they are in fact putting something back there it seems too far out of the way for a new attraction.

^ Staffing maybe? When I went this weekend two years ago it was closed too.

Well the Voyage (And the racing coaster?) are alot more intense than Wooden Warrior and twister. So maybe the trains are having a hard time handling the forces that would be put on them?

That looks to be something to deal with Mind Eraser, Maybe what they put the train on during the off-season.

Save raptor for the end of the day, It can easily become a walk on.

Thought some of you may be interested to know this. During the ACE event saturday Steve told us they will be replacing the skid and hand breaks on the comet with magnetic breaks and modern controls so they can run two trains again.

^ I seen it down for a almost a whole week a few times last year. Normally its due to wind since it can't operate with wind over 15 mph and that can happen pretty easily on point.

Great update! Looking forward to the day (Which I doubt will actually happen) that I can make it to japan.

I was the one she was arguing with. I think (Hoping) she finally realized her idea was stupid. Edit: She deleted her comments so I guessing she finally figured out that it wouldn't work.

They weren't allowed to build Rides/Coasters due to a contract with Geauga Lake/Ohio Ok I see where that makes sense, I didn't really belive that rumor anyway thought i'd just throw it out there.

Heres a few I can think of -Wadameer was going to add a wave pool to their waterpark however they put those plans on hold since it was going to extend into the parking lot and they can't afford to lose any of the lot since it fills up. -Turbo at Conneaut Lake Park Also Golden Adventure which was supposed to be a magic show featuring tigers was cancelled due to peta protests at the park. -Also a rumor I heard was that Sea World Ohio was planning on adding a coaster before it was sold to Six Flags.

If BGW were to get a woodie (which I doubt anytime soon) i'm sure they would get a new custom one rather than getting an old used one.

I also heard this from another reliable source, sucks that another classic ride has to go away

Dinosaurs Alive, on MF Island (Probably using the same paths as Terror Island) and retiring Paddlewheel so they can leave the bridge? I REALLY hope not!

I thought the family admitted it was their kids fault and not the park or the ride so they didn't try to sue? And this really worries me if this goes through than people will realize that they can sue for pretty much anything. And parks handing out settlements for pointless cases doesn't help either.

I was there yesterday as well and it was pretty bad but it seemed like people were more behaved yesterday compared to some of my other visits, probably had to do with the large security force they had keeping everyone in check and nobody letting line jumpers by I even seen some 10 year olds yell at some guy for trying to pass them inline for Ravine Flyer 2.
