  1. Well, if it were a more residential area that the park was in, I'd say this lady's first call should have been to Animal Control to see if the dog had been picked up.
  2. ^I can't see how the park failed. The dog should've been left at home. I wouldn't consider the park at fault if I had my phoe stolen in a cubby. Same concept applies. Should the person manning the kennel kept the main door closed? Probably. But I still can't see how the park is at fault for this one. Slow day in the news...
  3. ^Not if the new attraction ends up being Windseeker 2.0
  4. ^Who says Knott's can't get two coasters that run like crap in the same year? (a la X/Deja Vu)
  5. There is a rumor that when (if) this coaster starts to go up, every area except Snoopy and Fiesta will be affected. Is it possible that this clearing has to do with a 2012 attraction? Maybe. But me thinks it has to do moreso with GhostRider's rehab. I don't know, haven't seen which area they're referring to.
  6. ^One can only hope. Personally I'd like to see a T-bar intamin giga, with El Toro-like hills...
  7. What would be even more fun on Batman? Tunnels...
  8. ^So does Scream (Zero-G right at the stairway) but what stinks about that is the station roof block your view of it from the queue. I still like this project and perhaps can get out to this park one day.
  9. ^Then I guess it's a good thing she didn't go...
  10. ^We can barely get the DOSH to approve a roller-skater...Good luck trying to get California to OK a PnP woodie...
  11. ^After riding El Toro, you'll forget everything exists...
  12. As long as you don't knock on any of GhostRider's wood, I think you'll be fine...
  13. I think this is the fisrt time I've been turned off by two sets of boobs
  14. Though I will agree with most of you that a retracking would be ideal for GhostRider, I don't even think it's a "we don't want to pay for it" per se. We're talking about a ride that get 2+hour lines on busy days and close to 3hours during Haunt. Based on it's current throughput, why would you invest so much money on a ride that's stil easily the No. 2 most popular coaster in the park?
  15. ^It's really not that hard to beat intensity on Superman: Ultimate Borefest....
  16. ^^Personally, all reality TV bothers me. Now thatnks to Keeping Up With The Kardashians, one of my friends thinks "Romantical" is a word....
  17. ^^ & ^. All valid points, and Terminator is one of the best wooden rides I've been on, but Magic Mountain has put in some of the most innovative amusement rides known to the industry. Their follow up to alot of this now are just mediocre rides that don't compliment the high octane thrill rides that are there now. Any ride that goes into that park that's not the next "X" is going to be shawdowed by X, Tatsu, Goliath, etc.
  18. I've been on FAR WORSE than Rolling Thunder, (Old Texas Giant, Mean Streak, Psyclone, Villain, Ghostrider all come to mind) SO I'd say a serious retracking with denser wood is at least worth a try. I think every major park should have a racer woodie. It's as much a staple to the park going experience as a mine train or funnel cake, or line cutting.
  19. The S&S tower at SFoT isn't half bad. It's actually the best of the type I've been on. I'd be all for a combo tower (preferably over 300').
  20. You could hang around under I305 and just wait for one to blowout....snatch & run....
