  1. Well in the long run the delay will be beneficial to everyone. The park wouldn't want to rush through this thing only to have it pleagued with the same issues it's cousins are. Knott's has a golden opportunity to open this thing with no glitches or mishaps. If it means opening it in August, I'm all for that. The bulk of Knott's attendance is going to be coming in October and December anyway. If this thing can be reliable for Haunt and Toys For Tots, then more power to taking the time to get it right. Now if this were a Giga coaster with such a long delay......I might not be so optimistic
  2. ^I'm going to have to agree with Millenium Force being overrated. I mean, I could see a ride of its nature being the bee's knees back in 2000, but so many other rides of that type have been built and pushed higher envelopes since.
  3. Some guest waited in line for my ride, got up to the loading area, and asked me if I could break a 20. I laughed and told him no, and the rest of the day I put a sign on the turnstile "RIDE OPERATORS CARRY NO CASH".
  4. I wonder what the progress is on Windseeker and how soon it's going to open. I really would like to see how the park handles all the anticipation...
  5. I can imagine those comparisons now... "This one over here by Apocolypse is really cool! It's just like that Goliath over there, but it doesn't suck!"
  6. Well....on the bright side, this does give the park time to finish painting the track...
  7. I woud imagine coming to the park to WATCH Windseeker TEST can be just as fun...
  8. I have not seen this Windseeker commercial, but that I know of training has just started, so even if the mechanical aspects of the ride are done, operations still needs to finish it's SOP training. Early August sounds very reasonable at this point.
  9. I'm interested to see how the crowds of WIN will affect the area of the park. FV has some of the smallest midways in KBF. I really want to see how FV would look with WIN and the Haunt mazes in October.
  10. ^^So...on that logic, that guy on Tower of Terror is the only guy with a boob credit?
  11. If you really want to get wet on Bigfoot...eat lunch first and weigh the boat down..... Joking.
  12. Don't know what time, but I am slated to work there on Sunday. If anyone who follows this thead will be there, feel free to stop by Bigfoot and say "hi" I'm not hard to find. They're are only two black guys in Ride Operations,
  13. ^In the general idea for park operations, I'm sure accomodations could be made, but for Cedar Fair's policies and general asthetics, I'm not so sure it would happen...
  14. Someone the other day at Bigfoot Rapids asked me "Do this ride go upside down?" I told her "not traditionally, but if it does, I hope you can hold your breath"...
  15. Really? I got stuck in the Main Brake block during WCB...you must have been on the train right after me
  16. I think it won't take that long to get a lift motor from a flourishing company verses an absorbed company. How quickly we foget that the same thing happened to Riddler's back in 2008 and It was only closed about a week.
