Just so everyone knows, park hours are 10-9 all week. Lines aren't that bad, however, the new "Fast Lane" system is taking a noticeable hit to the standby efficiency. If you think the 50 dollars is worth it, do it...but standby still isn't horrible.

^But Windseeker has an LED display. You guys are underestimating the power of lasers.

^They can ANNOUNCE anything they want...What the park needs to remain a powerhouse in the market is to ACTUALLY BUILD something. Something large. Rip out everything minus Ghost Town and Xcelerator if need be!

Epic. No matter what you do, if you deal with the public, you'll have this problem. I drive a Transit bus. For anyone in the L.A. area, you would know that we have Local lines (All Stops) and Rapid lines (Major intersections). So I drive the 33 (Venice Blvd) which also has a Rapid route (733) so a lot of times I get asked "When does the 733 get here?" And I try to be as polite as possible in telling people I don't know where every single Metro bus is at every single moment of the day.

^Unless everybody is willing to take a paycut....but the large media markets really got the shaft on this one. Over the course of time, instead of making smaller markets better (such as Milwaukee, Charolette, Indianapolis) it's just going to dillude the prestiege that the Lakers have built up. I'm not saying this as a fan, but this CBA was designed to f*ck over no other team but them, which stinks, because they're on-court success has very little to do with them being in Los Angeles. If Jerry Buss owned the Utah Jazz, and had Jerry West/Mitch Kupchak as GM, then Malone and Stockton would have 5-6 rings. The fact that the Lakers are a brand that can entice a $3 billion TV deal shouldn't mean they can't spend that money on talent, since the Pacers can't get the same deal. All that means to me is that L.A. deserves an NBA Team....and OKC(which was in a much larger market in Seattle), Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Charolette, Memphis, Sacramento, and Minniapolis shouldn't have teams....

It's back on folks! And rumors are floating around that Dwight Howard is coming to L.A.....but will be looking more patriotic than royal...

Or perhaps rocks or something....something that would add to the rides ambiance...

^^However, Toys-For-Tots should be over on 12/17. And even if they do what they did last year and extend it all the way up to Christmas Eve, it still would be managable after Christmas. Will it be empty? I doubt it, but will it be as bad as the two TFT weekends? No. And Don't forget to stop by Log Ride when you go!

So...Today was the first day (that I am aware of) of the trial "Fast Lane Pass" at Knott's. $50 gets unlimited front-of-line boarding to GhostRider, Xcelerator, Silver Bullet, Montezooma's, Pony Express, Bommerang, Supreme Scream and Bigfoot Rapids. Not sure how long this will be in effect, but they were on sale and in use as of today, just so you all know.

No sliding? No chainsaws? Pretty soon all Haunt will be is one guy at the gate in a ghost-like sheet yelling "Boo!" at you...

I'd like to see a full circuit launch coaster. I gave Superman a chance, I gave Superman renewed a chance, and for a park the scale of Magic Mountian, it stinks as the ONLY launch coaster...

I agree that Log/Mine rides are as historic to Haunt as they are to the park itself. I hope the rumors are false, though I welcome fewer mazes ONLY if they still allocated the same budget to Haunt.

^Doubt it. GCI is as stuck in their design as B&M. All their woodies are short, sweet, and straight to the point. In terms of length, I don't think GCI would've went any longer than what it is now.
