Running the second boat only would've made marginal difference. The cycle time is what affected perilous the most. If youve ever watched it cycle, from dispatch to return took easily 7-8 minutes, factor in load time, guest confusion, operator confusion, it could easily taken 10 minutes between dispatch cycles, with or without two boats. And IIRC, it was EVEN MORE prone to downtime with both boats, overall it was just one of the prototypes that just go under the "fail" colomn. I know the park worked hard to keep that ride up to code but if it was taking more than its annual alotted budget then good riddance to it

On a more serious note, If it's rumored that an attraction is to replace Perilous and will only take up that space, could the adjacent COasters be removed as well? I mean the park did remove fiesta BBQ for Windseeker, and you can can get burgers and chcken on either side of that place now in Johnny Rockets and Boardwal BBQ. So I could totally see this place being removed to open up some space, which would then open up even more space. Of course these are all rumors and maybe the 2013 project is just bringing back reflection lake and giving it a beach theme

Perhaps I can shed some light on this issue. I was speaking with someone who worked in management at SFGAd. Originally with the S:UF in Georgia, Six Flags was unhappy with the dual loading station so they decided to modify the next two orders by dropping the second station and using 8 car trains. However, the extra four seats didn't compensate for the benefit of loading two trains simutaniously. So Tatsu was to feature both eight car trains with two statios, which theorhetically makes it the highest capacity flyer, however, due to having to staff two stations apparently is a burden on the park, so they opt not to do it.

^Just an educated guess, but at the time the family was approached with the initial proposal to sell to Disney, they opted not to, in fear that the park would be ruined/changed beyond recognition as to What Walter wanted it to be. However, as they passed on Disney, Cedar Fair probably made a decent offer, the family was looking to sell, and no other bids were on the table. Just a guess.

Best Theme Park Chain

Based on operations, I'd have to place Six Flags and Ceder Fair as the bottom tier. Too many inconsistencies. Disney and universal set the example and Busch comes close to the top -
The 2015-16 NBA Season

Am I the only person that sees the irony of all the hype Los Angeles' teams have received to be the only teams to take it to seven games DESPITE both holding a 3-1 lead. However for the clipps, I don't think their game 7 will end as well for them as the Lakers' did. And Im not even looking at injuries as a factor. Will the clippers be at a disadvantage that BOTH their stars have injuries? Yes, but I predicted the clippers wouldn't go as far as the hype demanded, because they just aren't that good. They put some nice season stretches together, but DeAndre Jordan doesn't know what defense is, Mo Williams has proven that he's not a clutch player throughout a whole series, Caron butler can seem to keep is body healthy, and I mean, no disrespect to the guy, but when you're billing Reggie Evans as your 4-5 best player.....ha
