The 2015-16 NBA Season

^Agreed. Let's all keep in mind that Artest only has 5 games left so you figure Denver wins their two consecutive home games and the lakers win the next two, then you have a rested Metta World War and Andrew Bynum playing ungodly defense, what first seemed like a curtain call for LA in round two could end up going either way. -

About the L.A.s games yesterday. The lakers handled their business, but I really have to tip my hat to the clippers. Man! They were NOT supposed to win that game. I have no idea how they pulled it off, but Chris Paul is the real deal. I still think San Antonio sends them home is they advance, but I Agine how intense an LA vs LA conference finals. O. M. G. -

^^Wait, what? Yes Perilous has two boats, and I have not seen it run both at the same time in years, (I think 2008). However, Silver Bullet uses one train quite often during lower attendance days and whenever it is being rehabbed. Xcelerator's rehab takes about 3-4 weeks and runs both trains quite frequently when it can. You also have to keep in mind that for a park to have a scheduled 364 days of operation, you'd have to give some flexability in how long rides have to close for maintenence. I think they do a pretty decent job with this seeing as how major rides are still able to run at full capacity from summer all the way through Haunt.

I'd agree with you on that, BUT Xcelerator, Perilous, Pony, Zoom, Boom, Jag, and Sidewinder are all on the side of the park that are closest to homes. A Coaster placed in the Southwest corner of the park (Bigfoot) would work if the station was somewhere near the Buffalo Nickel Arcade and the lift extended south and the layout went in to the backstage area behind BFR. Only problem is you'd have to place lift supports in the Wild Water Wilderness/Boardwalk Midway which A) Isn't that big to begin with, B) Get's really crowded during summer/Haunt due to performances in the CMST, and C) is the parade route during the Christmas events....Good luck and Godspeed to the engineer that can figure that one out.

^In theory, yes. However, Newhall Ranch and Land, or whatever the entity that holds the land is called has been reluctant to sell to the park. So in terms of expansion...at least for right now, is just within the middle of the park and dare I even say; the parking lot. But let me stress that before we start worrying about land around the park and ripping things out. THE PARK HAS PLENTY OF LAND TO WORK WITH. Deja Vu's old site, Flashback's old site, the north Superman hill (adjacent to Goldrusher) Log Jammer's old site. The stretch of Land behind Roaring Rapids from Viper to Deja Vu's old site and the space between X and Viper. These all all points that can be seen just from walking around. Who knows what land surveyors and engineers see.

Playing BTTF on PS3 right now. I have to say I wasn't impressed at first due to the poor gameply. However after banging on it for a few minutes and completing the first of five episodes...I have to say it's really fun if you A: disregard the game as more of an interactive movie and B: are a fan of the trilogy and would've like to see it expanded. It's only 20 bucks so I'd say it's a great pick-up.

^As much as people think it will be Cedar Fair-ized, There's way too much history for that to happen anytime soon. Just walking through Ghst town gives a different feel than any other Cedar Fair park. It's always going to be different from all the other parks. I think once the big whigs embrace that, the park will flourish to a point where even te enthusiast will be speechless.

^True, but all things like that are offset by payment upon parking, and gate admission-which usually tend to be the biggest "break-evens" for amusement parks. Most parks develop a formula to determine the park's per capita vs.operating expenses and when (and when not ) to close a park down due to low attendance numbers. So trust me. If a park stayed open on a "low attendance" day, more often than not, it at the very least broke even.

I'm not sure how much work would Have to go into Drop of Doom, as the structure is already there. I would just imagine the wiring and programming and the actual fitting of the towers, etc. Since most people who follow this hobby are infatuated with coasters, it's not as known how long construction takes on a drop tower...
