I really hope we see a total makeover of the Cyclone Bay area with the addition of "you-know-what". As most of us can agree that section of the park is a little dead and it would be nice to see that section get a breath of fresh air. Repaint some of the fading facades, maybe open up the Surfside Grill. I mean the possibilities are literally endless.

^I couldn't agree more. I did that with my first gf. After we broke up, I got my head in the right place, wedged myself into school and bettered myself and to this day she hits me up (I think the guy she cheated on me with cheated on her, talk about karma)

It wouldn't look too bad if they put some water back in the resevior behind the Waterfront Commisary. I mean at least it'd look better than what it does now.

That's terrible news but it's great to hear that he park is going to help people where they can. I personally feel sorry for victims of natural disaster.

I moreso meant in terms of a full-circuit Invert. I count Impulse coasters as shuttles.

I actually like vortex...it's short as hell, mildly fun at best, and the capacity isn't that great...it'll fit into Knott's perfectly.

Finally got my car fixed today...no more being a shut-in. Yay!

Well for newer B&M's you have to perform what's called a "stop check", which is pressing and pulling up all the ride's e-stops, the rides stops, and the lift stops, That one button caused someone to walk up the lift everyday, (which was usually me because everyone complained about it). I haven't seen the panel on the lift though. I'll look for it the next lift photo someone posts.

Consign programs ALL B&M's, but not all of them have them have panels at upper lift. That was the one thing I hated most about Tatsu's set up testing was walking the lift every morning (but it was good exercise though)

Vortex can alwas be relocated to Knott's...and Valleyfair doesn't have an invert, do they? What will we start the bidding at?

I noticed there's no E-stop panel at the top of the lift...those ride ops don't know how good they have it...

I can't always agree with the height requirement statement. Sure the norm may be 48'', but one has to remember that both X and Goliath have 48'' height requirements. Not that I am trying to make a case with just these two rides, you very often have exceptions. I think that what the park needs most is more family interactive rides. I think (meaning it's in my opinion) that one of the reasons Disney parks do so well is that they cater to a wide range of groups not just in rides, but also rider experience. Now I know most people just write it off by saying "You can't compare Disney to [insert lesser park franchise here], they're on two different levels. But I think that's the problem. Very few parks are willing to go the extra mile and theme a little bit more than say a Disney, Universal, or Busch park. Dark rides, a splash battle, a hands-on attraction of sorts, there are more effective alternative to lure and please families than just tamer coasters. Not that I'm complaining that we're getting a coaster next year with a likely one in '10, but I just want to see this park blossom to it's fullest potential, and surpass competitors in it's market.

They could just do what Paul Pierce, Ray Allen ang KG did and just all take dramatic pay cuts. But let's not be silly.
