  1. Front Gate-The department includes box office, offering A/C. Need I say more?
  2. Gran Torino was freakin' amazing!
  3. Bring back Tropical Sprite Remix!!!!
  4. ^From my cheek runs a lone tear of joy.
  5. ^You can still ride some of the rides. You'd just have to travel than more than one park in order to do so.
  6. Which sucks, because whichever operator that picks up these parks won't pay as much attention to those intangible qualities as Busch did, unless of course Disney or Universal pick up these parks. That however is safe to say is a longshot.
  7. ^Trains usually don't show up until the electrical work is done, and there hasn't been any word as to how that is coming along, so be patient. Once the trains arrive there isn't much left to set up and test so there is no rush.
  8. ^It's interesting you say that. It seems as if AB-Inbev plans to run these parks at the bare minimum until a buy is found, which may mean that the quality we are used to seeing in Busch parks may noticably decrease. At least that's what I got out of your post. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. ^Rick Ross-Push It. The song may not match per lyrical content, but the beat and continuous loop of the hook may make it work. Coaster Specific (Based on themeing) Maverick:Ride to Will Smith's "Wild Wild West". Ghostrider:Ride to Dr. Dre and Eminem's "Bad Guys Always Die". Georgia Scorcher:Ride To Ludacris' "Southern Hospitality". Superman Related coasters:Ride to any of Redman's various "Superman Lover" installments. Nitro:Ride To The Notorious BIG's "Sky's The Limit". Kingda Ka:Ride to A Tribe Called Quest's "Oh My God". Top Thrill Dragster: Station's "Baby I'm ready to go!!" can be replaced by "Tell Me When To Go" by E-40. Raptor:Ride to Kanye West's "Touch The Sky". ...just to name a few.
  10. I think everyone bypassed this park's real reason it failed. You could blame the economy, gas prices, troubled location, cocky management, and you'd still only be skimming the water. Let's get to the real reason this park failed. God hated it. So he smitted the park.
  11. I don't think anyone is complaining about the fireworks... I know I'm not. I think it was a fine touch. I can see how some people may have wanted to see more of them, but New Years is usually associated with confetti, streamers, noise makers, and silly hats. There was plenty of that. For this event to be in its inaugural year I think it has potential to grow to what some cynical people have in mind.
  12. ^^^^ You are right...Curtis Summers was like Ron Toomer of the woodie coaster world.
  13. ^With a sudden fascination for people hopping in track areas to grab hats, I don't think we should give anybody any ideas.
  14. Soulja Boy up in dat ho Watch me crank an watch me roll Wacth me crank that Soulja Boy I'll Superman that ho YOU!!! Soulja Boy tell' em
  15. Cenestro (archenemy to the Green Lantern) or Mr. Freeze. Those are the only two that come to mind.
  16. ^Properties, no. Assets....that's a whole nother ballgame
  17. Well it was my understanding that the summer fireworks got cut due to the threat of brushfires, so I'm pretty sure that it was an issue of safety that the New Year's fireworks were done in moderation.
  18. My first ride of 2009 was Silver Bullet (I know, I know, I'm Sorry)
  19. ^Let's not rule that out JUST yet...
  20. Blue supports with yellow spine would've looked nice
  21. That's the only thing that make SWSD barable for an entire day....
  22. Looks like this is going to end up being "LexCorp" the ride.... Meh.
  23. 2009 is here and it's time for me to get out there and start living it up!
