  1. ^It sure did. I live in Compton and Ash is all over my car... I also noticed that construction in that locker area behind GR. My guess would be it has do something to do with the new flashpass system.
  2. Electric Relaxation-A Tribe Called Quest
  3. If they paint the rails yellow i'll scream! (No pun intended)
  4. Well...it was rumored that SFMM would be working with S&S for two more attractions in the near future. As read in the Knott's thread, it is speculated that Log Peeler is on it's way out with a relocation of the ferris wheel. With Playhouse gone that frees up just enough space for-you guessed it, another 30 second coaster!
  5. To shed some light on the T2 question. I'm not 100% on this situation, but rollercoaster trains are just like cars. You can set up a maintainence schedule, but things can always happen due to wear and tear. I'm sure it's just an early rehab.
  6. ^And how many of those parks you mentioned had to close indefinately? Folks, don't worry about it. Barack Obama's gonna fix it!
  7. ^^I've never eaten anything with lard in it but I know it's fattening. I understand that you can't pass judgement on a place if you've neer been to it-but that's not what we're doing. No one is focusing on the claim that the park was good or bad. The park failed. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that this arguement is flawed. I don't have to physically go to Wall Street to know how the stock market works. The park failed in this economy. Other parks are failING. There's a huge difference.
  8. The World Is Yours-Nas
  9. Despite the criticism this coaster will inevitably receive, I think this is just what the park needs in it's lineup. I like Colossus, but let's be honest, nothing is stellar about it. It's not an El Toro clone, but I think we can all still live with what we're getting.
  10. 8 gallans of gas...20 bucks.
  11. Since when did auto-tuning become the hottest thing to ever hit the face of the earth? It worked for Zap & Roger, that was their thing...but rappers trying to sing and being successful from displaying their lack of talent? It's getting irratating that the house Run DMC built has turned into this. With such a promising past it's sad to see the genre in this dismal state. I guess groups the like of A Tribe Called Quest and BlackStar are a things of the glorious past. I guess instead of making music, it became the number one priority to make money. Sad times for the remaining b-boys...seems like we won't be popping or locking anytime soon.
  12. If I ever saw a theme park put up a banner that said "SafteyFirst", I'd totally be at ease that they spend so much time on safety that they don't worry about spelling!
  13. Things haven't been going that well for me at all this year, with being laid off from two jobs, i'm trying to remain optimistic about things. I've kind of been living by the creed "It's easy to blame yourself, but it's even easier to blame someone else". So far I think that type of mind state has brought me more harm than charm. I guess the positive outlook is that I'm starting to man-up to my responsibilities and take charge for my life and stop looking for excuses when soething bad happens.
  14. One thing that has irratated me over the past month leading into the election is the amount of people wearing Barack Obama shirts that aren't even old enough to vote!
  15. Stakes Is High-De La Soul
  16. Inclement weather is one of those things you can't mad at. I mean if a ride's closed due to staffing or poor maintainece, so be it. I'd invite all walks of life to rant about it, but wind, the park has no control over that. I know it's not the park that sets those rules. Besides, I'd rathe have the park close a ride as a safety precaution than cycle it and spend 2-3 days taking the whole thing apart because it vallies in the 2nd raven turn.
  17. Does anyone know how construction will effect Deja's operation? I ask because last time I visited we were told it was closed for construction, but then I see a picture of it running. What gives?
  18. Wouldn't be able to get many rides with that height restriction.
  19. I'm sure it's because the newer trains are substantially lighter than the old trains, but as it's been mentioned once you cycle the empty trains for set-up testing it's usually good for the rest of the day. So I found it as odd that it closed at around 5 pm for wind.
  20. Now that haunt's over...I'm bored...School doesn't start back for me until Jan. 5th, and no job. What to do in the meantime?
  21. Brown Girl, by Jurassic 5
  22. I can see Cedar Fair milking the tit, buy not buying the cow. If this rumor has any truth to it, I see CF buying some rides, but leaving the park as is. If this area failed as an amusement park teice, why would a company want to touch it now?
  23. ^It will affect their ability to buy rides, which is the main reason I feel the transition of retrofitting older rides to remarket them. I'd urge anybody working at SFKK and SFA to start looking for new jobs in the mean time.
