  2. Yes...and sometimes tape them if I can Do you Diddy bop like Diddy did?

  4. ^I don't wish Knott's to go under...I just wish Cedar Fair would release it's grip of death from around it. IMHO KBF hurts as a year round park. It doesn't help that Cedar Fair has no idea how to run a year round park. Just face it. As a family park it was going down, and under the Cedar Fair regime it's STILL going down, just slower. Coaster additions are keeping the turnstiles spinning, but what happens when you run out of room, our add 6 more launch coasters? I can see CGA going down. Wasn't too impressed by my visit and with that pesk height requirement, what the hell else could you do? I wouldn't rule out the Busch parks. As previously mentioned, they're some of the nicest parks around. But there is one thing that was not mentioned. They got that way when they were owned by people who took the time and effort to make them that way. Who's to say InBev will care that much for the parks when they've already made it clear they don't? In closing, I side with The Banned Kid. I'd LIKE to see Knott's go down the toilet within the next 3 to 5 years. My reasons are a little more biased I'm sure, but are valid none the less.
  5. As odd as it seems, I wouldn't mind paying extra for Fright Fest if Magic Mountain had this many shows. Of course a few mazes wouldn't hurt. In fact, if they DID add a few mazes I think the park may be able to pull off a separate gate admission for it.
  6. ^Same here. I was at Riddler's on a windy day, and as we sent a test train it vallied between Incline and Mid Course. That's when I got certified for Tatsu.
  7. ^I Know. I dont know why people go to theme park halloween events to ride rides. I never got it, especially if it's a separate charge event.
  8. It seems as if we've hit a stalemate with the fast pass issue. We all have mixed emotions on the issue, and with this topic in danger of becoming a battle field for unnecessary flaming and a pointless loop, let's just all agree to disagree. If you're for fast pass, buy 'em; if you're not, get upset everytime someone takes your seat. That's the end of fast pass. There are so many other things parks can do away with that are worse than prior mention. I think that parks that continue to operate in the "off season" should adjust their prices to accomidate the change in operating budget. Disneyland is a text book example. Is it fair for it to still cost 69 bucks to get in when the Mattehorn is only running one side, or only seven rockets on Space Mountain? Is it fair for me to have to pay the same price for food that I have to wait longer for because food stands aren't as staffed in Febuary as they would be in July? Of course I'm not attacking THIS park. All parks get away with similar things in one way or another. I think some type of lowered admission should be implemented or some type of compensation should fall into play for off-seasons.
  9. ^For me it's not a price issue. It's not that 15, 20, or 30 bucks is an "outrageous" price to pay. At least I'm not making that arguement. I just don't think it's fair to charge an admission price for attractions and in that admission price not give ALL your guests the same opportunity to access your attractions in a timely manner. Have I used these type of systems before? Sure. And it rocked when I did. But for those who advocate it, can you really put the shoe on the other foot? Can you really say "Oh, they've got the fastpass" when they take your seat on the train you should have been on after waiting two hours in a hot line?
  10. I just drank a Smirnoff Ice if that counts for anything...of cousre there's more alcohol in mouthwash...
  11. Yes-when the niceness begins to be taken for weakness. Can "too muc" and "candy corn" really go in the same sentence?
  12. We'd stop seeing B&M's and Intamins....at least until they're both relocated to Hoboken, New Jersey
  13. ^I again have to nod this notion. I mean some would justify that if people want to pay the extra money to bypass lines, then they have that right, but I still think it's unfair to say the least. I mean, it's a bit hypocritical for a park to say that line jumping is strictly prohibited under ANY circumstances unless you pay an additional X amount of dollars. Then it's fine.
  14. ^Hmm...that's odd. I thought as much there'd be only one train available because if two trains collided into each other why would they both not be red-tagged?...Unless the old yellow and magenta jalopy is getting some throwback love.
  15. I'm sure it'll work out somehow. I mean at this rate at least they'll be three trains for Spring Break.
  16. An expensive, poorly maintained strip mall.
  17. ^ I guess it's true what they say...cocaine's a hell of a drug.
  18. ^I would assume he's checking City Hall to find zoning permits or what-have-yous.
  19. ^ It all depends on what day you go. If you can avoid Friday and Saturday I strongly suggest you do so. Any other night would be slightly busier than a normal summer day.
  20. Since I started actually caring about coasters back in 2004, i'd say the longest I've gone without riding one is about a month.
  21. I'm always in for a good laugh so you have my nod that all my posts on 9/19 will have a pirate-esque tone to it.
  22. No Great Pretender-The Roots

  24. I'd have to say first off upcharge "fastpass" tickets. You pay park admission which entitles you to rides, "but for 25 buck more, you could not care that we take our time with ride cycling and bypass a 2 hour line that should ony be 45 minutes!" Next would have to be parking admission. It's either expensive to get in or expensive to leave my car in the lot, not both! I also would ethier like to see A: Bottled water sold at a more reasonable price. If you want to charge 4 bucks for a Coke that's your business, If not, that leads me to B: invest in decent, cold, and sanitary water fountains.
