  1. 2015 Annual PlayPass to Playland(PNE) is available now till the 24th, with $20 off the regular cost. Although I must note, usually after Dec.24, then it's still offered a couple of weeks into January. Then again, they may change their minds, and the offer only stands until the 24th. And like the dumb thinking holiday ornament I am, I get my pass before the 24th. http://www.pne.ca Ho ho ho! What the XXL is being called, when Playland opens on Saturday, May 16th.
  2. Need more holiday specials to stay happy.
  3. Very nice video. The outside shots were especially nice. And that last overhead shot of the whole attraction and bldg. I really enjoyed seeing. Thanks for sharing it.
  4. And maybe they'll design and build a diagonal elevator! And the attraction could have more than one elevator. Like Transformers...but more than they have! "it's all possible....with Disney!"
  5. I just can't understand...
  6. ^ No, MM is on a level floor, too as is Ratatouille in Paris' WDS. And then again, the vehicles themself could tilt and move accordingly on their base. EDIT to add: Now just picture this view, rounding the corner, when "The 8th Port" gets built! V Beyond this shot (and a little to the right)...Arendelle's castle! (not confirmed)
  7. I really want that too, but then I realize that the 2 trackless rides I have been on at TDLR (Aquatopia and Pooh), have been on one level with no hills, etc. They may have figured that out by now, how to get around different levels, etc. But if it's tracked, then I hope it's something like DL's Alice In Wonderland (with levels), or even Indy. But if they do it trackless or a boat ride, it's still going to be amazing! Do ya wanna ride a sleigh ride?
  8. Just found these three photos in the "Hong Kong Main Street Gazette". The text is in another language, but the photos are easy to figure out. Construction on the "almost Radiator Springs" backdrop for Adventure Isle's river attraction! And it already looks like a massive mountain range! (o: Workers on top. Here's the part of the park in question. You can see the concept art for the river ride, as well. And I want this concept art map of the park!!!
  9. ^ Actually it was on both the original 2006 UK Tour and the 2010 Tour, Mark. And I do remember it being a favourite amongst a lot of us touring, both years. Especially that Dragon's Fury coaster. Definitely a highlight for many.
  10. So...after I posted the Trailer Park avatar, midnight went by, and I re-considered... This one is of Santa and myself, taken at Bakken park in Copenhagen, during TPR's Scandinavian tour, last June. It was so nice of Mr. and Ms. Claus to come out of their busy, busy schedule (all that toy making, etc.) to greet us and take photos, etc. Notice the resemblance? With me in the middle of the two of them, I looked like their eldest son! (o;
  11. From the "Balle Balle" episode of The Neighbors We loved this series, one of our very fave ones. All too short, too. Smart writing, great cast, insane situations. If there's a dvd out with all two (?) seasons' episodes on it, we want it! The final number of the "Balle Balle" episode. With outtakes after the final commercials.
  12. And he poops too! ^ And I agree, this is not the worst-named coaster IMhO. Perfectly fits! What's not to love about a coaster named after a farting, pooping dog?
  13. It's the cd cover of an off-Broadway holiday musical. Fairly self-explanatory in it's title, lol. Saved here for posterity - Dec.2014
  14. Chessington is a really great park. It also had one of the best spinner coasters, Dragon's Fury. And the invert, Vampire, was great too, rushing through the woods and over the crowd on the paths. And Hocus Pocus Hall was a great walk-through, too. Definitely one of my fave UK parks. You should try and get there in the future, Mark.
  15. ^ Well, random is, as random does, y'know.
  16. Here I am, last Friday night at our local bar "in theme" lol. Dec.05, 2014 - Ho ho ho, indeed. (Thanks for taking the photo, Clark.)
  17. Tivoli looks great, any time of the year, in the evening with it's lights on. Thanks for sharing yours.
  18. I just can't stay up all night, again!
  19. Helix - Liseberg
  20. It's funny, but CBS did allow The Notorious Cagelles to do part of their opening number, including their 'reveal' at the end of the number, before Hearn went on. Ah, the bad old days. Not exactly the same thing, but in 1982, CBS nixed (the late, great) Anita Morris doing her "Call From The Vatican" number in NINE, where "the costume was in question". A body stocking with lace all over it, showing very revealing spots. One of the best numbers in the musical, when I saw it with her in it, Fall '82. And they went with "Be Italian," instead. Which was a number about a prostitute (the also wonderful Kathi Moss) singing to four pre-teen boys, about sex. And now we have Neil Patrick Harris (as Hedwig), all over his partner in the front row, of last year's TONYs broadcast. Times change. Anita Morris in NINE, wearing "the costume in question"...
  21. That was pretty wild. Motorcycles should ride more often on coasters. Lots of video for both Red Bull AND the park, lol!
