Dang the time is coming soon where I must decide whether to stay and compete in this or go to roller derby practice like I'm supposed to. What to do? EDIT: ^That's skill, or alcoholism. One of the two.

Them renaming El Toro to "Big Wooden Coaster". What's worse than having to decide between staying home to participate in a TPR bag of crap giveaway, or going to a previous commitment at the same time?

I wonder if Six Flags parks in general have a problem with gum? There was a gum support in the X2 line that was really bad one year. I think that was worse than the gum wall when I saw it. So nasty. Seeing the gum wall on Medusa makes me sad but it sounds like the park personnel do everything they can to prevent the gum wall but people do it anyway. Someone mentioned at SFDK Day that they should have a specific place where people are allowed to stick their gum so that maybe they won't stick it on the wall. I think that even if they took out the wall, people would find other places (probably worse) to stick their gum. It makes me sad how careless people are.

^ Great TR! I'm glad someone did this because I was really curious about SFDK's Fright Fest. It looks toned down compared to some of the other Fright events I've been following, but SFDK is more of a family park and they work hard to keep it that way. I loled at the "Zonga Forever" comment. That's awesome. And having a maze in the iwerks theater sounds awesome! That thing kinda creeps me out in the daytime... I bet it would be even creepier with a maze late at night!

Same here for all of those things! I can fly in my dreams if I remember in my dream that I can fly. Usually it only happens occasionally when a dream is getting too scary and I remember I can fly to try to get away. And sometimes I can't run, but if I flap hard enough, I can fly. Some of my frequent recurring nightmares involve trying to hide from someone or something but no matter how great the hiding place is (and I usually find REALLY great spots) the person or thing I'm hiding from always seems to find me.

How sad, Terry the 51-year-old dolphin at SFDK died. Here's an article about it: Vallejo Times Herald I heard about this dolphin only recently and thought it was really cool that SFDK had one of the oldest dolphins in captivity (if not THE oldest). She probably died from old age, but if someone comes across an article with the actual autopsy details, please post it. It's always so sad when one of the beloved animals at SFDK dies. RIP Terry.

Getting "cured", and then dying from a heart attack in line for your first coaster since the onset of the disease. What's worse than paying for a great college education to find out that you still have to flip burgers for a living because there are no jobs?

Yes. I'm going to ride Superman: Ultimate Flight at SFDK. Not where I live in CA! We have the most bipolar weather... there was a snow storm a few days ago and now the last two days have been warm and sunny. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was a snow storm some time this week. The mornings have been really cold. Have you ever been in a snow storm?

I had that happen the other day. I dreamed that my parents came home because their high school got a snow day (it was snowing when I went to sleep) and I thought I saw them come in and say, "Oh, you're taking a nap?" and I couldn't keep my eyes open more than just one second and I felt paralyzed and couldn't respond. When I woke up for reals, I realized it was just a dream, but it felt so real the whole time I was asleep I kept thinking I needed to wake up and say hi to them. I had a freaky dream last night. I was in the city somewhere and pulled off to get directions to the freeway I needed from my friend to get to the freeway I wanted. Then there was this gang-banger guy who came toward me and started trying to rape me and I tried to scream for help but I couldn't make a sound. I don't think he actually completed the deed but I was completely powerless to do anything about the situation. I think this is because I'm looking for campuses to apply to and L.A. keeps coming up with various colleges but I don't want to go to a campus down there where there's a lot of crime. I'm just a small-town girl [living in a lonely world!] and I don't want to go to a campus that's as small as the one I'm at now, but not huge and overwhelming either!
