I had an exterminator tell me: Chances are, You'll never see a snake in a bathroom. Most snakes live in mortal fear of tile. sounded pretty odd to me... -
Nice TR. I didn't know people still roller skate. (no sarcasm intended). Everytime the kids and I go, everyone's rollerblading. I skated for like, 25 yrs before i took up blading and have never lookeed back. Great pics!

My moment was 15 yrs ago. It happened the day before halloween. My mom had been dying of cancer for like two months. She passed the day before halloween and between my dad, sisters and me, I was the last one called at work. I had the furthest to drive, yet got there before everyone. mom was in a hospice unit at a nursing home. When I walked into her room, everything felt so surreal. I kissed her cheek and it was cold and i freaked. I kept staring at her and then the slightly opened window in her room. I went back and forth like for what seemed to be a century. (I guess i was thinking of jumping) After a while, a nurse walked in and asked if i was okay. In my head i heard this loud >CLICK<. I answered her that i was okay. And for the next 11 months following that i was emotionally dead. That was my scariest moment and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

okay, here goes... Missing mind; Of all the things i miss in life I miss my mind the most, i started heading eastward and wound up on the west coast, my girlfriends anorexic but what a skeletal ghost, of all the things i miss in life I miss my mind the most (can't ya just hear the slide guitars? ..no, you can't? I can, I hear a lot of things...) I use to throw good parties be such a friendly host, but years of stress have flattened me I've nothing else to boast, i use to write such wonderous prose but now i'm human toast, of all the things i miss in life ...i miss my my -uh- miss my ZWINGGGGGGGGGGG! THERE GOES ANOTHER ONE1 miss my mind the most... Yours truly, -mark (the closest i'll get to blues, country..)

^Wow, Their security here in Ohio is tough. Over the years, I've purchased a few leather coats from there and every time I went back, the coat would set off their alarms. Security would land on my with the quickness. I use to steal Tootsie Rolls from a corner drug store like 35 yrs ago. Got busted every time. Took me forever to figure out what those corner ceiling mirrors were for.

I'm gonna have to try that at Great Lakes. Heck, it's right down the road from my house, about 3/4 of a mile. -

Jokes about Katrina and SFNO were sort-of funny: SFNO underwater and the only ride that looks right is the swinging ship. Where was your punchline, kip? -

^^I care! That is one of the coldest statements I've read here yet. I don't believe that was even a remote attempt at comedic relief. Not good... -

Speaking of Brosnan, have any of you seen the movie Nomads (with Adam Ant?) I thought movie was great, but hardly anyone has heard of it. Yes, he made a very good Bond.

I think deep down America loves violence. We love to watch it on the news, read about it in the paper and look for the chalk outlines on the street. Something went totally wrong here that didn't go wrong in Canada, Europe and a host of other places. i think South Africa has a higher murder rate, but i'm not totally sure on that. I liked Bowling for Columbine. The footage in the school still freaks me out.

Amazing. Family of 18. Wonder what the poverty level is for that? my guess would be less than 125,000 annually. I can't imagine grocery shopping for 18 people. I mean, that's 54 meals a day! And forget about going out to eat, 360 bucks at OutBack @20 a head. Their cost to get into CP would be 792.00 for admission alone. They could probibly get a group rate. Wow. Imagine the Sweatshop possibilities: The J's Laundramat: We've been washing in bulk for years! -

Interesting concept, considering snow and coasters seldom go together. I like the idea though.
