  9. The elevators here at work scare me. I'm not kidding. The sudden drop isn't so bad, but the side/side banging reminds me of a Vekoma.
  10. I've ridden both those many times. They're fun until you go backward and get up-righted. That park always hurt.
  11. That was GL's Mr Hydes Nasty Fall. It was originally called The Edge at another park.

  20. As far as ski Lift-type transports/rides, it may have been insurance reasons, but i find that hard to believe. Your average ski resort doesn't pull in half the money a theme park does, yet they still run lifts and make a profit. Maintenance could be a problem, but again, ski lifts make it through the worst weather imaginable and hardly ever break down. In Ohio, the ski lifts don't even have lap bars to hold you in. You just sit there. When they hit the panic break, it always feels like you're gonna get tossed right out of it. I like trains. i remember the one GL had. It wasn't the greatest, but it was still fun. IMO, best train out there is at DollyWood.
  21. Every time I've driven by the park, usually once a week at varied times, the parking lot is maybe 1/4 full. I think when they release the figures, this year will show better attendance.
  22. That's a good site. Here's another one. http://www.italintl.com/used-rides.php
  23. Nice work. It's given me a few ideas. Where's the bowling balls? A closet isn't a closet without bowling balls. (jk)
