  1. For lack of a more interesting thing to say: Happy Birthday!
  2. ^If only they had some big, boring waste of space they could demolish to make room....
  3. Wow! Very smooth, and an interesting layout! Great job!
  4. ^^^^ I think it's the track. The Euro-Fighter track from the side looks more like a line, whereas with Fahrenheit's Intamin track, it's harder to pick out the past-vertical degrees visually.
  5. The more I see of this ride, the more I like it.
  6. I'd assumed it'd be some sort of small rocket.
  7. Somebody in my class tried to convince me that halfway through building Kingda Ka, they stopped for a few months because they were thought people might die when it's going straight down....
  8. Here's one that seems really simple, but I've never been able to get correct: Steel Force.
  9. I personally have always loved gym class. I'm one of those people who isn't very good at sports, but I put forth a lot of effort, and I enjoy it.
  10. Great to hear, that seems to be one problem that a lot of beginners (one of which I most certainly am) have trouble with.
  11. ^It's times like these I'm ashamed to be 14.
  12. It also seems like you're sort of just building coasters (maybe not).
  13. Also: why does the "artist rendering" use the 2 from Toy Story 2 cover? I'm getting suspicious of the existence of this artist....
  14. Speak for yourself.... Great TR. I absolutely love the picture outside Waffle House.
  15. Also, I believe double wide paths can make this worse. Every time a peep comes to an intersection, an algorithm decides which path they take (I think). Basically, the double paths make every tile an intersection, so you'll end up with oddly behaving peeps. I forget where I read this, so it might not be 100% true.
  16. ^I see what you mean, and even though I don't live in the UK, I agree completely. It seems like a lot of the charm of European parks come from things that we'll unfortunately never see in the U.S. again. Hopefully suing people won't become a trend there like it is here.
  17. Ha! So I was right! Shame to see it go, this was easily the best park I've ever seen on RCT3... Maybe years from now, we'll get to see a HHE revival.
  18. I just got this DVD too, and I've got to say: Elissa was definitely the highlight. I didn't even finish the video, but of what I saw (which was almost too much) it was pretty bad. At one point, it completely cut back to something it had already shown, and showed the same clips of footage way too many times. Also, it only showed a coaster outside of California once, to go all the way to Las Vegas. Roller coaster videos really don't age well.
  19. I'm pretty sure his name is James. He posts here a pretty good amount. He's in the El Toro video, arguing with Elissa about Balder vs. El Toro. Nice video.
  20. The first half or so was extremely smooth and very original, but from the exit to the turnaround just before the brakes onward, it seemed very rushed. I'd love to see an updated version, with perhaps a longer layout, and more effort put in. The first half was brilliant, and I imagine so would the second with a little more time spent.
  21. I'll say this about Magnum's "ejector seat" (first car, third row, as stated above): it hurts. I've been on Magnum only once (in the "ejector seat"), because the first ride was so bad I didn't want to ride it again.
  22. If you're spending $100 on food in one day at a theme park, it might explain how you don't have enough money for a Flash Pass (not to beat a dead horse).
  23. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21962&start=0 I'm not trying to be annoying, but "soppost"!?!
  24. IMO, you should make the supports of the woodie wood-tone. Right now it's just too much color.
