  1. ^hoped I had a car that someone lived in < wishes for the MLB 2009 season would come faster V hopes for the 2009 MLB season as well!
  2. Ok, you can begin building tomorrow, or if you are already you're ok. The official start date is tomorrow, good luck!
  3. Bumping. Just a recent reminder, that there are still 2 spots open. The contest can go with the amount people involved now. But don't miss your chance in winning and getting a gift card to a chosen resturant for the New year! Join now while you still can, 2 spots left!
  4. Ok Doki Matt^^ But really, you don't need to erase files. Just make a second ObjDat folder and work from there. Datmanager really helps, it helped me out when I was in a serious Dat jam. But I think your problem can be solved, this was just me recalling a good experience I had with DatManager. But, I do hope you get your files reorganized!
  5. Local stations near our house report 1.55 per unleaded gallon (with cash) 1.59 (with credit), 1.65 for Premium. I heard somewhere that price per barrel is under 45 dollars, is this true? I can see less then 1.25 in the near future (where I live) if all goes well!
  6. I really wonder who made the decision to move the Hornets to OK City to become the Thunder. Most. Stupid. Move. EVER. Seriously, along with Wes, I hope they never won or they win just a couple more games. That was a dumb decision, the team had a way better fan base in New Orleans. Not OK City. Pistons are off to a swell enough start, just hope they can maintain the momentum and carry us to another playoff berth this year. AND ACTUALLY pass the EASTERN FINALSSSSS. ARGH
  7. I'm kind of doing the same thing losing weight, but without WiiFit. I weigh about 270, and I plan to lose about 50-60 more pounds before next spring. I could barely fit in some rides at CP this fall, so it's time to drop a LOAD WAIT FOR IT OF POUNDS (I've lost 10 so far!)
  8. Not too shabby.....I like what I see, and I think you actually have something going here. Keep up the good work!
  9. It's a free design your own template contest, but I'm thinking of adding prizes to the mix. So is making your own template worth a prize? We'll find out!! If prizes do come to light, prizes winners will be contacted by PM for contact details and Prizes will be decided 2 weeks before the deadline.
  10. Just a reminder, spots are still open for anyone who wants to partake in the contest! 6 spots ARE still left! Join now while you still can! Best of luck to all once again!
  11. Imagine New York's Times Square around 11PM on New Year's Eve. Confetti, champagne and everyone is in cheer as one tough and difficult year is finally finished and we're all ready to ring in the coming year 2009 and welcoming it with a fresh slate. My challenge is this: How would you see the celebrations in Times Square in the form of a mini park? How could you capture the spirit of the famed New York New Year festivities? My specs are as followed: I want a 50x50 park that sums up the feeling of Times Square on New Year's Eve. Put anything you want it, and at least one coaster into the 50x50 space. The contest deadline is December 24th. Winners will be annouced on Junuary 4th. I wish everyone the best of luck! I want a good clean fight from all of you, and play fair! Gentlemen, Start your RCT2's! NOTE: NO WW AND TT Scenary. if you use custom scenary, make sure the import scenary box is checked off when you finish the park. Or otherwise the judging process will be delayed until said park is accessible. NOTE 2: I pushed the deadline to the 20th. NOTE 3: FINAL EXTENSION, ALL PARKS DUE ON THE 24th! NO LATER! Contest Park Makers: 1. the ghost (out of contest) sfkk339 (replacement on the 15th) 2. Dbru 3. thelegendarymatthew 4. Pufferfish 5. reality15 6. Cyber. Fiber. 7. B-RadG 8. SFE 9. cm3k
  12. I have a Dell XPS 420, 2.4 GHZ processor 3 GB of ram 500 GB Hard Drive 250 GB Hard Drive (external) A kick butt video card a Hi-Def monitor with TV card Blu-Ray disc drive, that can read DVD's Runs Vista Home Premium Did I happen to mention it's a gaming computer? It's a kickin machine, and if I can find my mom's camera. I'm going to take a pic of it, it's a pretty cool computer. That's my computer!
  13. Dang, I wish this park was real, It'd be better then going 2 hrs to CP each summer for a day, or 4 hrs for Michigan's Adventure on the other side of the state. I like what I see, and just wish it was real! Very nice presentation, and can't wait to hear about 2001 season!
  14. I don't think they allow them without permission, and even if you did have it I'd recommend moving from offride videos first and then work your way to Onride... I believe Robb began the same way, if I'm not mistaken.... and Please, don't type in all caps, it sounds like your shouting at us. (not trying to backseat mod)
  15. NOTE TO MODS: Due to the imprompt amount of thoughts I've had reading during the Games and Theme Park forums, I decided to do a Thought of the day system for everyone. AND NO, this is not an attempt to swell my post count. Hello you, Did someone in your life ever bother you to a point where you could no longer handle it? I sure do, I'm not naming anymore here but there's always the annoying little voice in your head you deal with everyday but how can you deal with it? These little voices, I call them are usually problems I deal with in life daily and regularly. Some of them take a long span of time to deal with, and when I slowly work at them, the voices disappear as soon as they came (MERRY CHRISTMAS!) but really what can I do? Life's problems seem to come at people when you least want them, but once life sucks and you cannot control life, only your destiny. That destiny maybe anything, I don't care, but as long it's good maybe it'll help the world and maybe it won't. But like I said before: I DON'T CARE. Problems will always be in your life, may they be small or large. I see them as challenges, that keep my life interesting and something I welcome and some might disgress by saying they hate or dislike them and find them a pain in the foot. (creative thinking, pain in the foot, lol) But I hope this thread of mine is at a level all can agree with me, and if anyone has suggestions or thoughts for me to post for them. Feel free to contact me anytime with PM or my AIM account atari631. and with the Mods, Robb and Elissa. It's your decision to keep this one open or not. I just thought it'd be a good, and more interactive yet controlled form of another Rant thread. But with my personal thoughts included. Thanks for listening, and I hope you like this idea of mine! Take Care!
  16. The one biggest thing the annoys me about people telling people how to do things is ignorance. I mean, sure the guy is trying to help, but the thing I've always had against people who try to help is when they ignore suggestions and corrections to their comments. I mean sure, we all have times for where we do it, but with Matt's case here. Hate to say it, but it's his age, he's 13 and he thinks he's a prime example everyone should learn from yet that is far from truth. Vets like me, understand times when one wants everyone to improve in their own way. But this thread is a fine example where youth want to do things or want things in their image, and they hope everything else will be their way from here on out. I couldn't sleep for about 2 hrs last night and this was one of the many things going through my head (Election aside). I many seem biased with my statements, but this is truth coming from me. Once again, I don't intend to offend anyone on the site, it's just....it's just I've had problems with some members (not naming anyone in this post) and their age. I'm not using Matt as an example, not at all. But when it reaches times like this, where the youth want anything their way and expect it to be followed and/or made in their image. It really annoys me, to no end. Just my daily thought for today.
  17. I've seen some bad ones, and I'm what you consider a vet in the RCT community. (been in online forums for it since 2001) This is helpful, but when you say very bad, sometimes people are trying to do their best and bluntly saying that can offend people. (more then you can imagine) I'm not trying to start something bad with this thread or be mean, it's just that some people do their best and you just ripped on some of the couple that are doing whatever they can to become better or maybe haven't even played the game in awhile. Meanwhile, Matt, head over to RCT2.com and see how you think of the parks there. Some of them will just blow you away, and some may not. It's your choice! And yes I know your trying to help, just be more......nice about it. Because I haven't made a park in 2 years, and I'm trying to make another with another member on RCT2.com for the first time in awhile. But regardless of my opinion, some of these tips are useful. It just depends on how you use them and work with it
  18. Just got back, here's a quick note: As said on the blog for today, 2008 was a Great season. I'll never forget the memories I had and made at Cedar Point this season, and cannot wait till 2009 begins in Sandusky. Rides Ridden: MF 2x Dragster 1x Raptor 1x Skyhawk 1x Gemini 2x Blue and Mean Streak 1x Magnum 1x Maverick 1x Every freaking thing 1x Lines were less then 15 mins from 6:30 PM and onwards to closing. Great time was had at the park this closing day, and we may go every closing day from here on out! Good night!
  19. Well, I'm just curious about crowds on Sundays since I'll be heading down to the park on closing day. This is my first time down on a sunday and on closing day. Does anyone know what crowds are like on Halloweekend Sundays and/or Closing day? Thanks in advance, CB
  20. I'm not affected regardless. If I eat food before or after, I could eat and hop on right after. Doesn't matter really.
  21. Wow, that Leno clip was funny. Stats on getting a minute and a half of fame just about! Good Job Mike!
  22. This was one of the better rides Vega had when I went in 2005. I hope something comes up so I can ride again in 2011 when I turn 21. I'm not looking forward to seeing it go.
  23. Skyhawk and MaXair at CP. Those erect bumps that stick out of the seats can be very rough on the babymaker. To those who said Iron Wolf, I agree competely and Mantis for some reason isn't too bad in my opinion. I maybe crazy, but hey everyone has their own opinion. LOL.
  24. I got through twice, and all you hear when you talk is a metallic ring and an echoed version of your voice. I did it once alone and once with a friend using the flash feature on my phone. Awesome tool, and I liked it. Very, VERY neat idea just wished there were more of em.
  25. Hello follow 2008 Classmates: We finally made it. We're done. Were have the last twelve years of our lives gone? Is it really the summer of 2008? Are we ready for College? And really the greater question is, are we ready for the world that we have to face and the bonds we have to break relating to our downhome comforts? Those are some of the many questions I've thought about in the past few years and have wondered "I'm ready, but are my follow 08' classmen and women ready as well?" I hope so, because university and college are the next greater steps in our lives and that is were we prove our worth. College is a proving ground to decide if we succeed, or if we fail and fade away from the world's eyes. College is another form of a new beginning, I guess. The hard earned ending of High school is something of not only of challenge, but also of cherishment. You'll think "Hooray, we're free!" but really, your not. You've just given up sometime familiar to rebuild familiarment in the coming years and with the coming studies. My fellow classmen, I have to say. "Are you Ready for what's out there? are you in good hands, or are you in a good position to suceed?" That'd be something hard to answer honestly, and I'd be VERY surprised if someone wrote out an answer shortly after my post. If you do, you aren't being too honest by giving a quickfire answer, no offense. But hey, don't let me get you all down. This was one hell of a year to gradute in, and really I think most of us ARE ready and others maybe need a year to decide. I'm certainly decided in were I'm going this coming fall! Are you? is the question I'm asking! My fellow gradutes of 2008, congratulations, and may we make the best of the future for the upcoming new generation. As our ends, don't look at it as a bad thing, just look at it as a learning stage of our lives and so that we can make the future less harsh and more open to the newcomers. Thank you for listening, and good luck to you. Chris Benvenuto Class of 2008
