Actually there have been studies that show that drinking in moderation leads to improved health, specifically heart function. Just because binge drinking damages your body doesn't mean that ALL drinking damages your body. So yes, there is a huge difference between smoking cigarettes and consuming alcohol.
Correct me, if I´m wrong:
Alcohol has a disinfectant effect, so, when you drink a beer after smoking a cigarette, doesn´t tha mean that the alcohol that is contained in the beer flushes away the bad things you inhalated with your cigarette?!!
