Oh, Natatat, your reports rule, and so do you. I wish I could be that dorky overweight coaster enthusiast. -

Ah, so that's what led to AZ's methamphetamine epidemic. Aside from that, good stuff, J.B. -
Happy Canaba Day to all Canabians on here, have a great day!

So, employees are riding it. Great. Well, guess what? Cast members are riding the new Mark VII monorail train at Disneyland. It means nothing. It's no indication it will open soon, or is almost ready for riders. Just a thought. -
Last month I went with a friend to Magic Mountain, who had never been on a "real" roller coaster, and hadn't been to any theme parks in over a decade. We went on X2 first, and he showed no fear. We went on many of the major coasters after that, too. Honestly, being afraid of a ride is childish. I agree with the 'coon, X2!

Still, it's a shame Revolution is not the ride it was when it opened in 1976. I think adding first the car-style over-the-shoulder seatbelts was a slippery slope, since it led to over-the-shoulder pull-down restraints. Six Flags should have never caved to whomever it was. Glad it's smoother now, though, it was very painful and not fun at all before this refurb.

Favorite Dark Ride
RIP Psyclone replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The best dark ride of all time: Adventure Thru Inner Space, which existed at Disneyland from 1967 to 1985. Fortunately someone who loved the ride recreated it in 3D animation, with the actual soundtrack. That was just a little sample he put up. -
There is a Chuck E. Cheese's near me, and it was a Showbiz before that, because I definately remember the Rockafire band. Yes, especially the gorilla! And for some reason, even though they were part of the background, I remember the sun and the moon.

It's been said that any future wooden coaster built in Psyclone's spot would be confused for Psyclone. I don't see where else it could go, besides undeveloped land outside the park's current borders. It is a "dead" corner of the park, though, and would be completely dead if not for Déjà Vu. A great new coaster is just what that area needs.

I guess one of the negatives is being confined to your seating level's concourse. If your seat is on the top deck and you feel like going down to the field level concourse for Canter's, good luck! -

All you Magnum haters, if you've been on both that and Desperado, which do you think is "worse"? I find Desperado a little rough but still very fun. I think the first drop is ever better than SFMM's Goliath, and it has a couple airtime hills too. -
^^I'd say SFMM could use a "proper" hyper coaster (as fun as Goliath is, 3 hills just doesn't cut it for airtime fans), a true accelerator/rocket coaster, and, of course, a dive machine. A mid-sized "family" steel coaster is fine, but they usually end up being low capacity nightmares. I think SFMM needs a woodie more than anything else.
