  1. I thought El Toro was a fun ride! What's Allison's deal, then? Hehe, your photos are second to none, Hanno, keep up the good work and I look forward to the rest of this thread! El Toro is fun, right? What's her deal?
  2. Every link of the song on YouTube seems to have been pulled, so I'll comply with that, but this contains an instrumental sample of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oigJGC4XU48
  3. The official theme song: Jack White & Alicia Keys - "Another Way To Die" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8cjM4KKmMA Meh.
  4. Thanks for posting that, I hadn't seen it yet. It does look very good. However, I think Casino Royale set the bar incredibly high, so I hope QOS is in the same league. Since it hasn't been posted yet, here's the teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ2GWKnTY4M
  5. The tracks are not identical = 2 credits. Most would agree.
  6. And shame on all of you for not getting her on Kingda Ka.
  7. The shot of Allison looking like she's about to hurl on the Coney Island Cyclone (front row) is possibly the best candid Hanno Shot yet!
  8. Wow, you actually took a picture with Allison in it in which she is totally blocked from view! (Except for those legs!) Congratulations to you, sir! That wasn't easy!
  9. Hey, that rhymed!
  10. My my, how time has flown by. It seems like only yesterday the Europe trip was beginning (unless you went on it, then it probably seems like years ago). Can't wait to see the first park you guys visit. Oh, is Hot Fuzz Rich a picky eater?
  11. Wow, that's some great stuff, Tomi! Thank you so much for sharing. Silly question, but I was wondering what language you use to speak to your friend(s), to talk to the ride op., etc. How do you say 'airtime' in Hebrew? Hehe.
  12. I think family friendly is the goal of most of the rides there. One could make the argument that their wooden coasters are too big/extreme for little kids or the elderly. However, this new ride, I think will be enjoyed by families because the drop is not too steep. They could have gone for the record of tallest and steepest, but clearly settled on tallest only.
  13. I would say the least accommodating coasters in the park would be Revolution, Batman, and Superman.
  14. Roger that, Eejanaika has only 3 "real" inversions. 4 half inversions, and 1 full inversion. Eejanaika's website claims 14. Despite being in Japanese, I can make out that it claims 7 of one kind of inversion, 5 of another, and 2 of yet another. It doesn't even count the 3 actual! Well, maybe they rounded it up to 5, somehow.
  15. It should be noted that the "butterfly" element is found on a few Vekoma multi-loopers, like Viper at SFOG and "that one in France," not on the Arrow multi-loopers.
  16. You guys let her miss Kingda Ka, so if you guys end up going back to SFGAdv, no excuses this time! Make sure she does it.
  17. You couldn't find a single In-N-Out Burger? You were in both NorCal and SoCal, with people from California, so I find that hard to believe! Oh well, maybe next time, right?
  18. So now that the chicken has made herself known, please make sure (you guys on the trip) that she doesn't miss anything. Bribe her with ice cream if you have to.
  19. Hello all! I am friends with someone (who for now will remain nameless) who will be going on the East Coast trip next week. I hope he/she doesn't chicken out on any coasters/credits/rides, so perhaps some of you can help. The coasters that come to mind which may make this "enthusiast" a little jittery would be the ones one would expect. Kingda Ka, Griffon, maybe even El Toro (Gasp!) to name a few. Personally, I don't see how someone could fork over a couple thousand $ and not fully enjoy this trip. Since I am not going on this trip, maybe you guys could offer a bit of encouragement. Those of you who have been on Kingda Ka, maybe you could say how the drop is not too bad at all, and so on... Thanks a lot in advance, guys, I would just hate to see any credits missed due to fear. There truly is nothing to be afraid of, right guys?
  20. No Magic Mountain? Boycotting? I don't get it.
  21. I remember in Sweden, places like 7-11 would sell beer with a low alcohol content, and I think people of a lower age could buy it. To get "real" beer, you'd have to go to a bar/pub, or a government licensed liquor store, I think.
  22. Great stuff as usual, Big Mike, but this feud between you and Hot Fuzz Rich is really dragging things down!
  23. Yeah, that was cute and all, Jimmy, but you're obviously not a Tom Leykis listener.
