Controversial Coasters!
crispy replied to jarmor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually the Santa Cruz People ARE that stupid, the birds are fairly intelligent, comparitivly speaking This is the same group who's city council spent WAY to much time debating whiether people were pet owners, or pet gaurdians, because can you really own a living thing, man the SCBB wanted to expand into the beach flats area, and if you know santa cruz you know that that is the area where basically all the drug crime originates, and they would have bought the small area out, a few city blocks, and turned it into part of the SCBB, but the city council was worried about the drug dealers, and the poorer families that were forced to live in that hell hole wouldn't have a place to go, so they did nothing when something very positive could have been done to help families get out of a bad situation, and expand the citys tax revenue ARRRRGH, I hate Santa Cruz Politics ahh, I'm done now -
Here is a post I made about the CRC, with an interview with a person who actually rode it, yeah it was a bit intense http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=551

HMMM, let me think I would have to say the best small park is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, with a great coaster and the kinda stinky beach, is pretty hard to beat Cliff's Amusment Park in Albuquerque is also great, one great coaster and a compliment of flat rides that are very well taken care of. Both parks have a log ride, with the edge going to SCBB in a big way, and they both have one great wooden coaster, with the edge going ever so slightly to Cliff's, and both have a smaller steel coaster, advantage goes to Cliff's due to the completes suckyness of the Hurricain coaster at the SCBB The beach and the Warf, which is huge and you can drive out on(the warf I mean, try to drive onto the beach and let me know what happens), feed the sealions and eat at one of the full service sit down restraunts, that of course specialize in very VERY fresh seafood.

Cliff's pulled the Coyote Howl
crispy replied to crispy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yup, thats it the frog hopper, I remeber that as my daughter rode it and enjoyed it, although not as much as the three times she went on the Galaxi coaster, at least she can get on that. I believe that is still there, but I still havn't seen the Drop Tower go up yet, and there is like a week to go before opening day, COASTER1 I'll try to stop by on opening day and get some pics of the new rides, if you want them for your site let me know, I'd be more than happy to let you have them -
Cliff's pulled the Coyote Howl

They already have some Kiddie frog mini drop thing, this was a "grown up" ride, for lack of a better term It must of been pretty lame for it to last only one year, but whatever, they are adding a drop tower and two other flat rides this year, I take the trade off -
Well I didn't ride it, but Cliff's has pulled out the Coyote Howl. Here is a link, that should not work, but does, as the ride is no longer there http://www.cliffs.net/coyhwlpg.htm Anyway, I saw a big crane pulling it up a few days ago, they must of sold it, It was at the park one year, I guess they figure, who would ride this with a drop tower now in the park

Thats nothing, I had to goto work at 4:30am (training), then when I get out of class, Albuquerque is havin' a FREAKIN BLIZZARD, it was 72 degrees two days ago! Looks like snow and a lows in the twenties, good times. And I lived 11 miles from the epicenter of the 1989 quake the stoped the world series, a 7.6 if I remember correctly We lost the chili beans on the stove I cried (What can I say I love chili)

Sponge Bob Square Pants Well basically if you like the TV show you will like this movie. It suprised me a bit that this movie was rated PG, Iguess for the flag in Patricks butt crack, and some other crude jokes. Overall the movie was very funny and I enjoyed watching it with my daughter, if you enjoy spongebob you will enjoy this, it really a long episode

Alright, now I'm posting this at 644am and I've been up all night, so I figure I'm at my philisophical best I was raised a christian, and have stayed that way including being a loyal member of a church untill about a year ago, I have not stayed out for any reason other that my own complete laziness(yeah let hear it for lazyness) Anyway, there are a few churches that use Christianity for a vehicle of hate, but there are many more who really do want to do good with thier lives. Just remeber there is like 1 Jerry Fawell and a ton more of Billy Graham's It seems the few can make the many look bad. Remember, if you agree or not, it is important to always respect other peoples beliefs, and certainly if you want the same in return The biggest problem with the Church is that it is full of people, no diffrent than anyone else, you have pastors of big churches, who get big heads and treat people like dirt, you have gossip, and many other things you would never expect to see in a church, but they are only people, and the majority are doing the best they can, people make mistakes, if you accept that, and then forgive wrongs that are done to you, you will be alot happier for it I have been wronged by people in the church BIG TIME, but I was lucky to see that some of the other people, including the pastors were getting blessed(for lack of a better term)by the music team I was leading I'm sure I'm rambling, but hey I'm half asleep Respect, if you give respect, you get it back boy I wonder if any of that made sense? :?
