New Vekoma Flyer in China 2008
Team Thriller replied to speedracer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I bet that coaster is going to be the NEW 'Screamin Squirrel' Vekoma Version. I feel sorry for Vekoma. Their rides look so cool, but they never turn out well. But who knows, their other flying machines where O.K. Yep, that sums it up! -

For you, England might be the best. Sense you only know English. The problem is, England is VERY expense with the pounds. Being an American and living in Germany (I know the language fluently however) I can almost say that lots of Germans are beginning to understand English. If you live in a Big City, (Berlin for example) you will be surrounded by people who speak all different languages, including English. Problem is, living in the beautiful European country side beats the city. You really don't need to know German to get around. Every buisness hires germans who can speak the main English words like (Hello, goodbye, thank you, A$$ hole etc... They can all answer you're questions just fine. And at German Theme Parks, the staff can speak wonderful English. Plus, German is pretty easy to learn. Anymore questions, you can e-mail me Hope I helped: --James

Awesome!!! Is Montu really better than Alpengeist? Because I've heard that Montu is getting some bang bang in it. I know Alpengiest has it also, but now that they are just as bang banging, wouldn't Alpengiest win? But Anyway: awesome pictures -

A underrated coaster! How many unicorns ran the track? -
That zero gravity roll looks as good as Kumba's, which is a good thing. ^As your those, I think that the music comes from the headrests, but it would make since for them to come from the seat in front of you. But the reason I believe that it comes from the headrests is it would be easier to hear. Maybe the sound 'blends through plastic'. Since these are pictures, we wouldn't be able to feel if the plastic on the headrests is thinner on it then the rest of the seat. Who knows But anyways, who cares where the music comes from. THE RIDE LOOKS AWESOME!!!

Photo TR: Christmastime at Disneyland!
Team Thriller replied to arrowfanman's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Your still the master at TR's, Jahan Disneyland looks truly amazing at Christmas. I've never been there in December. I'm always there in the Summer when it is crowded and hot and sticky. But in December, when the weather is just right..... It would looks prettier if there was snow on the ground, but California can't do that. Again, great TR -
Most Overrated coaster?
Team Thriller replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Big Bad Wolf at BGE.. I really REALLY wanted this ride to be amazing. I rode Ninja at SFMM a couple months before I rode BBW, and Ninja was incredible. I got in the front seat of BBW and went up the chain. All was shaky. The ending drop was very shaky, but was amazing. Then I rode in the back of the train. The ride was pretty much the same. The ending drop was better however! My second overrated coaster is... Vertigo at Walibi Belgium I was watching this coaster being built. I saw it testing. IT LOOKED AMAZING!!!! I rode it, and it was fun and all. But it didn't fill my 'excitement spot'. --James -
