1. What do you find most useful about the front page? The updates that are posted and then of course the menu is a very good place to go to navigate the site. 2. What do you find least useful about the front page? Nothing 3. Is anything on the front page confusing? No. 4. How far do you scroll down the front page looking for updates? I normally do not scroll down as I have already viewed the previous updates. 5. How often do you look at the front page? Each time I visit the site I look for anything new and then I continue on to where I want to go. 6. How often do you click on the "whatsnew" link? Have only a couple of times. 7. What would you like to see added to the front page to make your visits to TPR better? Maybe a link to the Calendar? 8. Anything else you would like to mention? Like any thing else you would like to see us add/change/leave alone/etc? Well I know for myself that I am not able to attend any TPR trips this year, but I could possible meet up with you guys at a park close to home on the East Coast trip. So maybe a shortcut to the Calendar on the home page and maybe if the calendar could be updated with the parks the group will be at each day of the trip. And maybe while trips are actually happening, have a "Where are we now!" link? I know this might be too much for you guys to do with the work that you have to do while actually on a trip. But maybe a good idea?

Great TR! I about laughed out loud here at work, about your pic and comment on the "dead" dinosaur! :0) Oh and then the other one with that S.T.D.? LOL.... Too funny! Hey when you head to Chattanooga... I might need to join you at Sir Gooney's... I need the credit, but I am too embarassed to ride it alone and Bubba wouldn't be caught dead on a kiddie coaster!

This was a great little ride. I rode this in 2004?.... anyway the roller coaster wasn't spectactular, but the view and the fact you're so far from the ground was the awesome part! I think they need to replace with some other type of roller coaster... maybe push again for the Fish Hook one! The Big Shot is the most terrifying thing I have ever ridden! You think your being shot out into space.... you can't see anything above or below you but the ground and the sky! The temp was over 100 degrees, but I was chilled to the bone!

Awww... Hector is looking all cute after getting wet. I don't know if cuter than the Polar Bears getting all wet... but close! Just joking. I actually had some family that lived in Oceanside CA which I think isn't far from San Diego... We visited some and I LOVED it.... I just couldn't imaging the weather being too cold... maybe too cold for water rides though! Nice TR Hector! :0)

2008 Six Flags Souvenir Cup Policy
NINCUB replied to trek's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I myself don't spend the money on souvenir cups as they would just clutter a cabinet. I think it is kind unsanitary to let someone use a cup they have had for a couple of years or more old. Yuck. Some people are just not as clean as other people. SERIOUSLY! -
The rides at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch
NINCUB replied to cathyJ's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I would love to have that Zipper.... I wonder if my parents would let me put it in there back yard?! I don't have enough room at my house! :0) Seriously what stinks is that just b/c it was MJ's Zipper it will sell for probably way more than its worth! LOL... I said MJ's Zipper! :0) -

Favorite Water Ride
NINCUB replied to SFMM rocks my socks's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tie - Dudley Do-Right Ripsaw Falls and Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges This beats anything Six Flags or even Disney has ever done to date. Rip Saw Falls is the funniest water ride ever! The big finale scared me like the first roller coaster I ever ridden.... I thought I was going to fly out of the log! I also do not think any other Log Flume ride gets you soaked as Rip Saw does. Popeye & Bluto's was AMAZING! The big huge drop was scary as heck! Disney tried to do this with the River Raft ride at Animal Kingdom but their drop doesn't even come close to P&B's! I rode the AK raft ride once... but road P&B's as many times as I possible could! -
What's your favorite Flat ride?
NINCUB replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Cool thanks for the info! That is very sad... to me... LOL.... The last time I rode it of course it was old and rickety! LOL.... I think Michael Jackson had one at Neverland Ranch!? Hmmmm... I wonder if my partner Bubba would let me get a loan? I'm sure MJ will have to sell it off to pay for his debt.... but since it was MJ's... I'm sure it will cost 100xs as much as he paid for it! Ooooh... I wonder if anyone could find me a vid of Zipper!? LOL.... -
Chattanooga to receive new waterpark
NINCUB replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here are a couple of pics of Splash Valley! The orange fencing is horrible. I think they are just trying to grab everyone's attention that drives passed. The East Ridge " town newsletter" has a full page about the new park. They are offering Season Passes to E.R. residents or anyone who works here in E.R. for 49.99. Which seems kinda high as a special for a small park that isn't even opened yet. This offer is only good through the end of April. They also have signs up "now taken applications online" on the orange fence. The website is still under construction and applications can't actually be submitted at this time. I'll check periodically as it would be kinda fun to get construction pics as the park progresses. It doesn't look like they have started anything as of yet. The "coming soon" sign and that hideous orange covered fencing. -
What's your favorite Flat ride?
NINCUB replied to FlyingScooter's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My fav flat is a tie between Zipper and Tilt-a-whirl..... It seems Zipper is a rarity these days. I think the last time I rode it was about 4 years ago and I think it was called Chainsaw. I can't seem to find it, but who manufactures Zipper? Does anyone know of a small park that has this ride permanent? -

It's 2008! Where are you headed this year?
NINCUB replied to OldJJman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well I'm still torn between CP and KI..... but I would most definitely be going to one maybe both of these parks during the week of 06/16-06/20. I will try to go on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week so hopefully crowds will not be large. I am working on Bubba to go to Dollywood in May....big maybe... Also a good friend is moving/getting married and moving to Virginia Beach... so I want to visit and go to BGE and KD! So that is a big maybe.... Then of course working on Bubba to for us to get SF season passes.... and will almost definitely be going to SFOG and maybe SFKK. Oh and then Lake Winnie as it has been years since I have been there. I think they have 3 credits that I still have not gotten. Also I will be going to the new waterpark here in East Ridge if it actually opens for the summer. -
Great TR! Looks like a great park. Very Cedar Fair-ish... :0)

Chattanooga to receive new waterpark
NINCUB replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live like 2 mins away... and all I have seen is a ugly "privacy" fence surronding the front. I don't see how on earth they will have this open by May! I will try to go by tomorrow and take some pics! -
Thanks Robb! I got my tee and vid in the mail yesterday! That was pretty fast! Well of course I was standing in my living room with a disc in my hand just looking at my "no riding rides partner, Bubba" with sad puppy dog eyes..... and he said.... "HELL! Just put it in!" LOL Needless to say I got to watch my first TPR vid! Roller Coasters in the RAW Vol1 is totally awesome! I couldn't help but laugh at Rob's "GD! GD! GD! GD! F! this ride!" on Eejanaika! It sounded like you were being beat to death! I hope X2 is not that bad. I am really looking forward to coming to SFMM to ride X2... someday... I really love rides that have individual cars that flip. My all time favorite "carnie" ride is "The Zipper" or "Chainsaw" or whatever it is being called these days! So when you mix that element with a coaster, I get all misty-eyed! LOL. I literally have been dreaming about a coaster like X for years. It really disappoints me that it might be too rough to enjoy! :0( Anyway this new vid is an extremely enjoyable experience for almost anyone! I loved it! Oh... and BTW.... guess who watched almost the whole 1st disc with me? BUBBA!!? That is right, the non-coaster riding Bubba. Heck he even seemed kinda interested. I think I have about talked him into BOTH of us getting a Six Flags Season Pass! WTF!? Maybe he can just go and see me have fun and hold my camera?! LOL.... Well once again, Everyone needs to get a copy of this DVD, 2 disc set. For 10 bucks its the best deal! [Roller Coasters in the RAW Vol 1 Oh... and BTW again... (Bubba hates it when I put pics of us out for the world to see!) LOL :0) Bubba and Me!

Cedar Point or Kings Island?
NINCUB replied to NINCUB's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Really? I thought Mean Streak was pretty good. I am used to rough coasters like GASM and GA Cyclone.... I thought Mean Streak was extremely ridable.... taller and faster than any wooden I have been on.... I think the smoothest coaster was at Six Flags Enchanted Forest in Washington, which is now owned by someone else and called Wild Waves or something... The coaster was Timber Hawk? It was the smoothest ever! -
Legoland - Land of Adventure Preview & KidTums' Birthday
NINCUB replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great update! So Legoland is mostly for younger thrill seekers? Most parks are not usually created for small kids in mind. This is a really cool park for the little ones. And Happy B-day again KidTums! -
Cedar Point or Kings Island?
NINCUB replied to NINCUB's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Very interstesting that the loop in SOB was removed. It doesn't seem that the loop would have been the most rough part of the ride. Normally vertical loops are quite smooth compared to corkscrews or cobra rolls.... but it was a loop on a wooden coaster which had never been done before.... -

^Thanks! That was at the end of the day. I wanted to do more video of other rides, but I just had a 2G card in my camera! The video turned out pretty good which made me wish I did more video!
