  1. Awesome update, I really enjoyed reading/watching it!
  2. I did ride Slammer, and it indeed was awesome. I love those S&S restrainst because they fit perfectly and give you an amazing ride experience, same as Rush. I didn't expect Slammer to be that powerfull though, I woudn't reconmend it to people who puke fast.
  3. yeah I know man, but we found that out there, we thought english public transport wasn't good at all, but we were proven wrong since it was amazing. And we had a 2 day combo ticket with hotel and thorpe admission so going to Chessington on a day when we actually had Thorpe tickets would be a little wast. But the next time I'm going I'll definately add Chessington and maybe Alton too!
  4. Yeah, I definately had a good time, not much to complaint really.
  5. What a beautiful park, and very nice pics too! The detailing is incredible, too bad Maximum RPM still isn't open.
  6. Wow, china seems to be the place to be! Those are some awesome coasters they're getting.
  7. Hi guys, A couple of weeks ago me and a friend visited Thorpe park. We were kinda bored of the Dutch theme parks so we decided to cross the pond to the UK. And I'm glad we did, we started of at Amsterdam Intl. airport where a British airways flight was going to take us to London Heathrow, that's terminal 5, damn am I happy we didn't have any luggage except for our backpacks. When you only have that with you terminal 5 is actually quite relax. Well Thorpe, I liked it very much. Up till now there's nothing to compare Stealths front seat with, the acceleration and speed are just phenomenal. I had the most rides on Nemesis Inferno, B&M sure squized an amazing ride in this tiny space, very forcefull and I loved it. So funny when it broke down on the first day with a huge line, everybody was walking away from it and just as we were passing by they opened it again. Colossus was a cool ride, although the barrel rolls were painfull as hell, I mean, when you're in one you just keep bouncing around in your restraints, but the overall ride was good. Then we did some of the other rides there such as Slammer, which broke down with me in it, luckely mechanics were just around the corner since it was braking down all day, so no long delays there. Rush was awesome too, too bad it has such a short program. May 9th we decided to head over to London for a while to do some crash sight seeing. And that concluded our amazing days in England. I'll definately be back! And that was it, back home in a loaded BA 767, lol. Flight attendents running around the plane and having to give everybody drinks and food in an half hour flight. Well I had a great time, and I absolutely love England now, it was my first visit but I'll definately be back. *If you happen to want a pic here only in a larger size, let me know. ©www.pretfans.nl Terminal 5, Heathrow Ben again.. Tha Thames and the other buildings and stuff.. London Eye Ben through the trees.. Big-ass Wwaterloo station. Colossus...again People soiling themselfs.. I love my timing! Good one for 'Guess the coaster' .. Yeah... I'm running out of caps.. In the middle of nowhere with Loggers Leap. Also loopin' Colossus loopin' You get screwed here.. Three 'train' pic! Lifthill picture for you enthausiasts. Colossus tortureing people again. It sure gives me a rush..! Pretty place in the park. 'Baby' droptower Detonator, still a great ride though.. Yummy corckscrew goodness! Emerging from the bush.. A well known picture but I still took it. Another great part of the ride. Alternative to a shower.. B&M sure knows how to built their inverts. People in pain. Happy people.. Cobra goodness Colossus looks bad-ass from this point of view. Because of these! Everybody should sleep here, why? At Amsterdam airport.
  8. Nice pics, this ride came out better then I though.
  9. Oh no, it's that time of the year when this crap 'festival' starts again. Western European countries should all just get the hell out of there and stop wasting any money on it. It's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.
  10. Very nice pics man! This park seems to be great fun. Especially when seeing Rumbler there, knowing how awesome Troy is Rumbler should be an amazing ride too.
  11. I like Slammer, only it's not a coaster. Goliath still sounds pretty cool for a huge ride.
  12. Wood: Definately Troy Steel: Euurhmm, I like Stealths top hat drop, and Goliath has a nice one too.
  13. I love the colors!, the ride must be crazy too. Never seen much of this park, but it looks very nice.
  14. X2 looks very cool I must say, it seems to be a great upgrade. Thanks for the pictures robb.
  15. This looks just soo awesome.. I can't wait going here in maybe a few years and ride al this GCI and Intamin goodness.
  16. I actually have no idea why everybody is complainting about those boomerangs and SLC's, I've been on 2 Boomerangs and 2 SLC's and ok, they are not the smoothest ones out there but it isn't that bad, especially the ''newer'' ones such as Vampire in Walibi Belgium, the El Condor in Walibi World is rough, i agree but that thing is like 17 years old and had bad maintenance all his life, that isn't Vekoma's fault right, as rides get older, most of the time they get rougher and the Vampire was actually quite smooth, same for the boomerangs, there not that bad either. And if you look at the newer rides of Vekoma you compare the ''smoothness'' with the B&M's and Intamins, Vekoma's rides get better and better. I do have to say I never rode an Arrow but saw a lot of POV of them and the rides didn't look so smooth to me. Some of them just look like they are about to fall apart, that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to ride an Arrow because I like old rough rides, but for the poll I have to go with Arrow
  17. Kariya-shi Kotsu Jido Yuen
