Hey everyone I just want to say thanks for the help. I had a super time in Disneyland/California Adventure. Space Mountain is so amazing, that was my first credit at Disneyland. We rode it 3 times that day, every time it seemed to go a little faster. But I have definitely learned some things. Next time, weather we go to Disney World or Disneyland we are definitely staying in a Disney Resort hotel. When we went to go get our gate passes which we already bought my mom forgot her ID at the hotel, I had mine and they accepted that, but if I had forgotten my ID we would have had to walk all the way back to the hotel on the far southside of the park. Plus a few times we went back to the hotel after being at the park in the morning to hang around the pool. All that walking back and forth takes a toll on your feet. Another thing is that maybe we need more days in between a visit to the parks. Its great to go to Disney but if you do it too many days in a row, all that walking every day your feet start to hate you. Screamin' is was great. I have to be honest, that was my first coaster with a loop. I have always been afraid of coasters, especially upside down parts but before my trip I told myself I would get on Space Mountain and Screamin' at least once. I have no clue what I was afraid about now. Going upside down isnt scary at all. You don’t fall out or hit the restraints. It was great. Front row on Screamin' is a nice place to be. It’s sort of tough for me to pick my favorites of Disney. Screamin' is great, Space Mountain is great, Soarin' is great, Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Grizzly River Run are all very good as well. Disney did a great job on both those parks (some beg to differ I’m sure). But as I understand it, Disney is about to dump a whole bunch of money into California Adventure to re-image it? We never did end up at Knotts or Magic Mountain but we did end up at Universal Studios Hollywood. And no offence to those of you who like it, but I thought it was pretty boring. The Mummy was so short, so boring. Jurassic Park was ok, Simpsons Ride was ok. There wasn’t really anything that stood out at Universal. Islands of Adventure might change my mind about Universal, that will have to wait though. Thanks again, and I’m sure you have all seen a picture like this about a million times, but here is my version: (god I look silly in that picture) Martin 'In love with California Screamin' Kosik

Today I rode Screamin Over California Oh my God it was amazing. I dont know why I was afraid of loops on roller coasters before but this was great. you can barely tell your upside down because your upside down for like a second. Space Mountain rocks too. Disney is wicked. -

Disney for sure. Im at Disneyland right now, and its amazing. -
I say PS3 I have Wii, 360, and PS3. I enjoy the PS3 alot more. I like the interface of PS3 alot more, the controller is better, free online is always a plus (Xboxlive is better I will admit, but I dont think its worth $50 ($60 in Canada) a year). Maybe my 360 is like broken or something but I can never play for more then 4 hours with it, it just freezes up. *whoop. this thread has already been solved *

Im in, even though Im not that knowledgeable about football. -
I saw Wall-E I thought it was pretty cute. I didnt see Kung Fu Panda though because Im not a huge fan of Jack Black. The theater was actually still fairly full when I saw Wall-E like 3 weeks after it first opened.

Dino_Martini replied to PCW_Nut's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is going to sound weird, but Behemoth looks pretty 'sexy'. Im headed out to Ontario next year, so I will definitely have to try Behemoth out. -

The Jetta TDI has been sold in Canada forever. In the US when the Mark V Jetta was introduced the TDI was available in all but 5 states because of emissions regulations. But then they removed the special category that the TDI was registered under in those 45 states (God I hope I got that right..) in 2007. For 2008 VW is using things like Particulate filters so it can be sold in all 50 states for 2008. For now I would say Diesel is the way to go. Sure it costs as much as gasoline, but your MPG is a lot better then the equivalent gas car. Plus you get a lot more torque... -

At our weekly car meet a guy brought his new Challenger. Black on black with navigation and everything. Neat car, parked up beside a 1970 Challenger it looks similar, but not too similar. I really like it, expensive cars in Canada though. I saw one sitting on a used car lot (probably a speculator) wants $69,995 for it. Considering it starts at $44,995 + $1300 destination fee..that's some real mark up. -

Your right, I sort of forgot about Cadillac and I've been listening to the analysts scare tactics.. new CTS is a really nice car. Im hoping GM makes it, if they can get the volt out before Toyota and Honda get an electric car out, they are going to make money hand over fist. Now if I just had some cash to buy the stock at the current $10 and ride it up when the Volt comes. Interesting times in the Auto industry. Honda testing a Prius-esq Hybrid plus they are going to start leasing that FCX Clarity Hydrogen car, GM has the Volt coming, Ford has some fab small cars like the Fiesta and Focus. The real meat is of course the new Camaro -

I love GM dont get me wrong, I would give a kidney for a ZR1 Corvette. But the Volt is only coming if GM can make it to 2010, the cars they are making right now just are not selling. Most analysts predict Q3 09 is when GM runs out of cash. We bought a GM car, Saab 93, its freaking awesome. If everyone would just get over the quality issues GM had in the past and see that they are making great quality cars on par with what Toyota and Honda make (Maybe not in the small car segment) GM would make it. I am really going to hate LA then -
I thought it was really good. Worst scene is the Lamborghini LP640 crash...such a nice car

I think the earlier episodes are better then these past few. This is just my own opinion, but I think the show would be better without Grant. He annoys the crap out of me, stating the obvious every six seconds.

I havent been to a concert in a while. I went to Billy Joel last November. It was a pretty darn good concert.
