Twilight Zone is pretty unknown in Japan, I don't know about France. That was a factor here.

The area of DisneySea this ride is going in is themed to NYC, so a Hollywood Hotel wouldn't make sense. Hence a different theme.

Er, Florida is considered by some to be pretty tropical, y'know palm trees, beaches, mangrove swamps, etc. Disney seems to be doing pretty well there... With all the Japanese tourism in Hawaii, I think the problem would be detracting from turnstile counts at CA and FL. However, someone building a small to medium sized family oriented park (al a Legoland or Cypress Gradens) would probably make a killing. Has there ever been an amusement park there and it failed, or has no one ever thought it was a good investment considering that there are alternatives?

(National is Eurasia specific, but Panasonic is used in the everywhere.) Maybe they are trying to increase brand consciousness by limiting the use of the National name?

I pay 2000 yen to park at DisneySea or Tokyo DisneyLand. That's about $19-20 depending on the exchange rate. Most parks are 1000 yen, though. I don't know what USJ charges, though, I took the train. What's parking at Disney parks in other places up to these days?

^ Which is why I like it. I am more of a floater air guy, and MF has plenty. Phoenix has more, and KW's Jack Rabbit has the most perfect moment of floater air on any coaster I've been on, but MF is it for steel IMO. (439: 356 Steel, 83 Wood and counting)
