Okay, I am paying for some train tickets for a friend so he can come down and go to Busch Gardens Europe with me next month, and was wondering how I can pay for his tickets. The amtrak website was no help. I know they have kiosk things in their stations, but a credit card has to be used for those, and the tickets would have to be in his name, and I'd be using my card. Anyone else have experience with how to handle this? I'm becoming worried that it may be really complicated.

Ya know, even though I smoke, I find it great that there are so many teens here against smoking. I may dislike the talks of banning smoking, but I do like that less people WANT to smoke.

Well, if you like the sound of the band Kansas, you may like Dean guitars. Kerry Livgren from Kansas was the first to endorse Dean. Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, who plays music much different, also just switched to Dean from ESP. I've played a Dean, and the necks feel really good, they aren't as well known as Fender, Ibanez, or Gibson, and the tone is good depending on the exact guitar.

I'd just recommend staying away from the factory-made ones. They are usually cheaper to buy, but from my experience require more things like fret hammering and neck to body work. My ESP MH-50, which I've had less than 6 months need fret hammering already, which will cost me 50 bucks. Might wanna try a nice Dean guitar. They're nice.

I agree. Smoking around food is disgusting. I'm a smoker, but I never smoke in restaurants and not even in my apartment. I don't want the next owner to come in and have to deal with the old cigarette smell. I always smoke outside away from non-smokers, because it's just good manners. My problem is with people acting like we as smokers are the plague. As a bisexual, I feel it's a lot like hatred of a different sexuality. You know, they use those lines like "hate the act, not the person", but it's always said with such disdain, so that you know they actually dislike the person. People being so rude as to try to make smokers feel like they are gross, unwanted second class citizens just makes me want to be mean to them as well. Thankfully there aren't many of those types down here in North Carolina.

So people think that smoking in a pub specifically for smokers is horrid?

While I agree that smokers have a right to destroy their health as they see fit, I don't think that smoking indoors in public places is necessary. Despite what Penn & Teller claim, there is decent empirical evidence that second-hand smoke is harmful. A person's individual rights only extend so far as to not harm others. Let's ban cell phones then. I'm sure we'll find out their harmful in some way. I think this generation is too ban-happy. Trans-fats, smoking, fireworks, sodas in schools.... The list goes on and on. America... becoming the land of funsuckers and health nuts. Notice so far I'm the only smoker to publicly state that I do so....

I'm an off and on smoker. Smoke a pack every 2 days or so for a month, take 2 months away. Wash, rinse, repeat. Only smoke Camel brand. Marlboros suck.

Apparently it was really painful. Such as the trains were badly designed for the track. Supposedly it ran okay its first years, though they took out a corkscrew, but in its last few years, it got too painful.

Why is every fast food place open late EXCEPT Burger King?!?! It makes no sense.

Well, there are emos, and then there are EMOs. Most just like the emo fashion. The ones I know don't cut themselves or anything. I know they are easy to make fun of. Even I do from time to time. One of my pet peeves is "You should watch what you eat. Stop eating that fast food." I have no clue why people say that to someone as skinny as me. I exercise which keeps my fat level down, and I balance fast food with vegetables and fruit. Just because I eat fast food probably once every other day is no reason to tell me what to eat. I'll never get militant health food people.

I had a dream when I was 4 that I can still remember vividly. ET was sitting on a chair, and had me over his lap and was spanking me. But in my nightmare, I was watching myself being spanked. It scared the hell outta me. Sounds funny in print, but it was frightening to a four year old.

I don't see why people hate KISS either. I love em, especially Ace. Another phrase that makes me cringe is "next, a special Dateline. To Catch A Predator!" How is that special anymore? It seems like it's the only subject they have anymore! And it's not even journalism!

Guys wearing tight jeans being pissed off at nothing is lame. Losing all self respect is stupid! They actually TRY to look like girls.. and wear makeup.. it really is just plain dumb. I mean, emo kids should be burned. Emo burning would be a good sport. I second that. "I didn't get chocolate milk today...*weep*...*cut*...wah..." Gah! As for makeup... You must really hate the band Queen.

Anyone saying the word "emo", because they are bound to be starting to say hateful things about them. I don't get what's so bad about guys in tight jeans and being pissed off at nothing.
